31 Dec 88, and The London Boys sing 'Requiem' on a special New Years Eve edition of The Hit Man and Her, from Le Palais Hammersmith, London. Hosted by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan. This record was re-released in April 89 and then deservedly reached #4 in the national charts. This is rare lost footage, as this edition of the show no longer exists in the TV archives. Source: off-air VHS from 88.

From July 89, this is the semi-final of the 'I Wanna Dance' competition on The Hit Man and Her late night TV show, from The Palace, Blackpool. The show is hosted by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan.
**Regular viewers will remember one of the competitors here, Stix, who went on to win the finals the following week, and then became one of the regular dancers on the show. Thanks to Stix for contacting me, and I'm glad I've managed to find this footage of the competition with Stix in action on the dance floor. Hope it brings back some fun memories for you Stix**

From Feb 90 this is Kakko singing 'We Should Be Dancing' on The Hit Man and Her late night TV show from The Palm Court in Southport. Record produced by Stock Aitken and Waterman.
Her career as a pop singer with SAW was short lived, and she returned from the UK to Japan in 1991. There has recently been an upsurge of interest in her time at SAW and the intrigue of the unreleased tracks in the PWL vaults. Now she is reportedly a TV actress in Japan working under her name Anju Suzuki. If anyone has any more information on her current career, please post it here.

The closing few minutes of The Hit Man and Her from The Palace in Bradford in Sept 89, and some great music and nostalgia. This late night TV show is hosted by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan. Look out for the guy on stage in red shorts, dancing to 'Magic Holiday', who later became a featured dancer on the show (this may be his first appearance). His name: Jason Orange, who later joined Robbie Williams and gang to form Take That.
