On the 1st of march 2007 the Youthhouse was evicted, wich was followed by demonstrations and confrontations with police in Copenhagen. So far 685 people have been arrested and the cost of the police during these days has reached over 14 million danish crowns. On the 5th of march the Youthhouse was torn down. The totalitarian regime of Denmark has waged a war on its own citizens, but its not over yet.

Solidarity manifestation in Gothenburg, sweden on the 12th of January 2007 for the Youthhouse in Copenhagen wich has been sold by the Danish state to a christian fundamentalist sect that wants to tear it down.
460 flyers were handed out and a protest was held outside the Danish consulate and the Danish Bank.

From the streets of Denmark comes a video document from our friends in ORMSOS. The fight for the 100 year old, workers movement build, house: Ungdomshuset, which means "youth house", is now raging in Denmark. In 1982 the house was givin' to the growing squatters movement as a place to organize from, after a long range of attempted squats.
in 1999 the danish goverment sold the house to a right-winged christian cult. After years of resistance through the legal systems outlets, the house now faces eviction.
On the date of the planned eviction, thousands of people from all over the world travelled to Denmark to show their support. When the protest was attacked by danish police. The battle was on!
