Undergrad project using motion graphics portraying the unconscious mind drifting into a dream state and finally coming to awareness within it.
Done entirely with After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and logic pro. Blue screen footage shot specifically for project, thanks to actor Amy Meyers for her help acting. All other elements self generated. Actual size is 1080x720 at 29.97. This is from my scholarship show for the University of Northern Iowa.

| Blink 182 - Online Songs Kinetic Typography - 146 sec
For all you blink fans, here's something to spark your nostalgia. It's my first take on a typography project and I had to learn how to use After Effects from scratch to do it. You can really appreciate how the video gets better and more complicated towards the end as I got more confident and proficient at using the software. PLEASE watch it till the end and in HIGH QUALITY, or else you might miss the best parts. It took me quite a while to finish and I continued working on it through exams at uni and other school work. Fortunately I passed all my courses with good grades (I'm studying photovoltaic engineering at UNSW, in case anyone's wondering).
I might also post a link to a high quality 720 X 480 mov file later but only if I can successfully contact blink-182 (or their according manager) to get expressed permission to do so.

I used SWiSHMax to create this video, but I needed to use a screen capture tool (the reason for that watermark in the corner) to actually export it as Swish wasn't allowing me to export it right, it kept coming out monochrome and all the text inverted.
Anyway, here it is. Took some time to make. My first time trying anything like this. Hope to do more, perhaps learn after effects. It'd be a lot more powerful.
