Takiego wozu w naszej armii jeszcze nie było - TUR jest połączeniem Hummera z wojskowym pojazdem dostosowanym do europejskich warunków. Kamera Raportu TVN TURBO jako jedyna dokładnie podejrzała najnowszy pojazd dla polskiego wojska. Jak na razie to tylko prototyp, który testowany będzie podczas misji w Afganistanie.
Pojazd w pełni zaprojektowany i wyprodukowany w Polsce ma przewyższać swój amerykański pierwowzór. Będzie szybki, lekki, ale przede wszystkim bezpieczny.
- Pojazd chroni załogę w klasie pełnej drugiej według norm STANAC. Robiliśmy próby również na przestrzał pociskiem B32. Próby wyszły pozytywnie - opowiada Tomasz Wróbel, dyrektor ds. technicznych firmy AMZ, czyli producenta pojazdu. Inaczej mówiąc, TUR odporny jest teraz na strzały z najpopularniejszej broni terrorystów - kałasznikowa. Nie groźny mu również 6-kg ładunek trotylu. Jednak po modyfikacjach polski jeep będzie jeszcze bardziej wytrzymały.
Zaprojektowanie i wyprodukowanie pojazdu zajęło zakładom z Kutna 8 miesięcy. Polacy skonstruowali zupełnie nową ramę. Sercem TUR-a jest sprawdzona jednostka napędowa iveco o pojemności 3 litrów i mocy niespełna 170 KM. Napęd za pomocą 6-biegowej skrzyni biegów przekazywany jest na 4 koła. TUR-a oczywiście wyposażono w blokadę mostów, dzięki temu przejazd nawet przez największe błoto nie jest dla niego problemem.
Pojazd jednorazowo może zabrać 5 osób załogi. Kierowca, dowódca i 3 żołnierzy. Może być uzbrojony w karabin automatyczny 7,62 i 12,7 i granatnik 40 mm. Jednocześnie pojazd może być uzbrojony w zdalnie sterowane działko. Z takimi samymi kalibrami, czyli 7,62 i 12,7.
Teraz Tury trafią w ręce wojska i zostaną sprawdzone w Afganistanie. Jeśli tam konstrukcja z Kutna nie zawiedzie, to samochód wejdzie do standardowego wyposażenia armii.
Tur jednocześnie może być najdroższym polskim samochodem w historii - droższym nawet od Rolls Royce'a - ale, jak zapewnia producent, i tak będzie tańszy od samochodów konkurencji.

OK, this video is very ego, sorry about that! My dad suggested to upload it, and I though, what the hell.. The language is norwegian, but I did my best to subtitle it in english. If you hear the word "tits-machine", don't worry, it means "time machine" in norwegian, lol!
This video was my interpretation of the admission assignment for an animation school in Norway, which was to make a "self portrait in any technique". I was studying in England at the time (Spring 2005), but wasn't satisfied with that school, and wanted to try another place.
I got in!
How it's made:
Filmed myself infront of a green screen, made it to a walking cycle which could be looped forever. The rest are pictures from England and Norway and books, and are just mashed together in Premiere. The music is me, played guitar and harmonica myself (two instruments I actually can't master) but it sounds ok enough. Music edited together in FL Studio.
