The Three Principal Paths (Lam-Tzo Mam-Sum) is a very concise presentation of the entire Lam Rim path composed by Je Tsongkapa Lobsang Drakpa (1357-1419). Je Tsongkhapa is often considered the greatest philosopher and most eloquent writer Tibet has ever produced. His poem in fourteen verses, the Three Principal Paths, was originally composed as a letter to a close disciple. This text is universally recognized as a concise yet eloquent presentation of Renunciation, Bodhicitta, and Correct View -- the three essential Buddhist knowledges that a practitioner must develop to follow the Mahayana path.
Also, I have added annotations to the video that provides a brief summary of the three aspects of the path, as well as a short commentary by Ven. Denma Locho Rinpoche. If you are unfamiliar with the Lam-Rim tradition, I would recommend that you read the annotations before watching the actual video.

Robert A.F. Thurman is the Jey Tsong Khapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies in the Department of Religion at Columbia University, President of the Tibet House U.S., a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Tibetan civilization, and President of the American Institute of Buddhist Studies, a non-profit affiliated with the Center for Buddhist Studies at Columbia University and dedicated to the publication of translations of important texts from the Tibetan Tanjur.
Professor Thurman also translates important Tibetan and Sanskrit philosophical writings and lectures and writes on Buddhism, particularly Tibetan Buddhism; on Asian history, particularly the history of the monastic institution in the Asian civilization; and on critical philosophy, with a focus on the dialogue between the material and inner sciences of the world's religious traditions.
Popularizing the Buddha's teachings is just one of Thurman's creative talents. He is a riveting speaker and an author of many books on Tibet, Buddhism, art, politics and culture, including Circling the Sacred Mountain, Essential Tibetan Buddhism, The Tibetan Book of the Dead, Wisdom and Compassion: The Sacred Art of Tibet, Worlds of Transformation, and, most recently, Infinite Life: Seven Virtues for Living Well. He is credited with being at the forefront of making Tibetan art accessible and understandable in the West and, with distinguished art historians, he collaborated in curating several important traveling exhibitions, including "Wisdom and Compassion," "Mandala," and "Worlds of Transformation," which set a standard in the art world.
Thurman's work and insights are grounded in more than 35 years of serious academic scholarship. He has a B.A., A.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard and has studied in Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in India and the United States. A long-time advocate of Buddhist monasticism, in 1962, Thurman became the first American ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist monk. He gave up his robes after several years, however, when he discovered he could be most effective in the American equivalent of the monastery, the university. He is a popular professor in the Religion Department of Columbia University where he holds the Jey Tsong Khapa chair in Indo-Tibetan Studies. Students have described his classes as "life changing", and a college president recently said, "If I could be a student again, I'd want to be in his classes at Columbia."

The Dalai Lama has imposed a ban on the worship of the 500 year old deity Dorje Shugden, a great importance in his Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. This has created divisions among the Tibetans living in India, where Shugden worshippers are being ostracized from their community in the name of the Dalai Lama.

THE BIG LIE
The Dalai Lama says Dorje Shugden is a harmful spirit.
For centuries, every great Master in the Buddhist Tradition passed down from Je Tsongkhapa, including the Dalai Lamas root Guru Trijang Rinpoche, has revered Dorje Shugden as an enlightened being who helps sincere practitioners progress on the spiritual path by developing pure minds of love, compassion, and wisdom.
The Dalai Lama himself was trained in this tradition, and for 40 years relied upon Dorje Shugden, even composing a prayer of his own praising Dorje Shugden and requesting his help.
Then, suddenly in 1975 he abandoned the practice because he had discovered Dorje Shugden was a harmful spirit!
Incredibly, we are being asked to believe that the Dalai Lama accidentally worshipped a harmful spirit for 40 years without noticing!
THE TRUTH
To consolidate his grip on political power in exile he has attempted to destroy the four great traditions of Tibetan Buddhism the Gelug, Sakya, Kagyu, and Nyingma traditions and create a new religious movement he calls ri-me. Previously he had been a member of the Gelug tradition.
As part of a deal with some leaders of the other traditions he agreed to abandon the practice of Dorje Shugden and command others to do the same because Dorje Shugden practitioners prefer to rely upon the tradition of Je Tsongkhapa without mixing with other practices.
For sincere Buddhists to abandon a practice given by their Spiritual Guide is inconceivable, and so understandably there was considerable resistance to his calls for others to follow him in abandoning the practice.
The Dalai Lama responded by demonizing the practice, referring to a Deity he once revered as a harmful spirit and concocting absurd stories to convince those with superstitious minds to abandon the practice.
Under the guise of historical investigation, he quotes selectively from various Tibetan texts to argue that the practice has been controversial with past Dalai Lamas. What he does not address is the iniquity of the present and previous Dalai Lamas freely mixing politics with religion and frequently adopting and rejecting religious practices simply for reasons of political expedience.

Recently PLA 4th Hospital organized doctors to provide free diagnosis for Monks in Kumbum Monastery.
Kumbum Monastery (sKu-'bum Byams-pa gling) (also known as Ta'er) located in a narrow valley about seventeen miles southwest of Xining is a Buddhist monastery in Qinghai. It was there in the former that Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism was born in 1357 and was later founded in 1583. Its superior monastery is Drepung, immediately to the west of Lhasa.
According to one tradition, Tsongkhapa's father took the afterbirth and buried it here, and soon a sandalwood tree grew on the spot. Another version has it that the tree grew up where drops of blood from Tsongkhapa's umbilical cord had fallen on the ground. In any case this tree became known as the "Tree of Great Merit." The leaves and the bark of this tree were reputed to bear impressions of the Buddha's face and various mystic syllables and its blossoms were said to give off a peculiarly pleasing scent.
The four-storied golden-roofed temple built around the tree where Tsongkhapa is said to have been born is called Serdong or 'Golden Tree' and is considered the holiest place in
