Bereits am 10. Januar 2008 machte der Abgeordnete Yukihisa Fujita vor der entscheidenden Abstimmung über die Wiederaufnahme der Beteiligung an der US-geführten Anti-Terror-Mission - Enduring Freedom eine 30-minütige Präsentation vor dem Oberhaus. Dabei stellte er die offizielle Erklärung des 11. September grundsätzlich in Frage: Er befragte Premierminister Fukuda und Verteidigungsminister Ishiba, wie die japanische Regierung hinsichtlich der Täterschaft der Anschläge des 11.September informiert wurde und zeigte Beweismittel zum Pentagon und WTC Komplex-Komplex, die den Verdacht nahelegten, die US-Regierung verschweige wichtige Fakten.
