In the past five years Josh Martinez has managed to tour 200+ dates per year all over the world, start his own label, Camobear Records, ink deals with European labels Bella Union (UK) and V2 (Europe), license records to distributors in Japan, Europe and North America and headline festivals and showcases worldwide. And all of this, with absolutely no help from an established North American record label, manager, booking agent, publicist or industry support.
Josh has managed to find time amid all the deal cutting to develop not just his solo career, but that of two groups as well. Josh is a founding member of both The Chicharones and The Pissed Off Wild. The Chicharones is Josh's underground pop project with rapper Sleep of Oldominion. Together they have released two full length albums since a chance meeting between the two at South By Southwest led to the formation of the group. The Pissed Off Wild, (or the P.O.W.), is a live rock band which Martinez fronts. Musically the band draws more from artists like the Black Keys and Beck, than the hip-hop sounds that Martinez would generally be known for.

Displaying three dimensions of time on three faces, the Reverso grande complication à triptyque is a world first and a unique expression of the Manufacture's total mastery of both traditional fine-watchmaking tradition and avant-garde technology. A few years ago Jaeger-LeCoultre set itself a challenge: to bring together civil, sidereal and perpetual time in the legendary reversible case. But the Reverso grande complication à triptyque's achievements go beyond this: its manually wound mechanical movement offers some unique subtleties of construction as well as extraordinary horological complications. On its front face, it has a tourbillon endowed with an ellipse isometer escapement, a masterpiece of design and execution whose transmission system does away with the traditional Swiss pallet. Inspired by marine escapements, it offers peerless precision. Its back face features a zodiacal calendar with an astronomical chart, an equation of time and sunrise and sunset times. The watch's third face is remarkable for its unique location: a perpetual calendar in the Reverso carriage. Presented in a decorative expression inspired by the finest Haute Horlogerie achievements, this extraordinary watch mechanism overturns longestablished principles, since it represents the first time that a wristwatch houses a cylindershaped balance-spring. Representing a splendid approach to the quest for absolute precision, the three-dimensional motion of the spherical tourbillon fascinates observers by the exceptional speed of rotation of its two carriages, with the inner one completing a full turn in 18.75 seconds, while the outer one performs a more conventional one-minute turn. Universally acclaimed at the time of its launch barely four years ago, this revolution in the tourbillon world now finds an entirely natural aesthetic expression in the Reverso, with its distinctive shape that further highlights the absolute beauty of this peerless technical accomplishment.
