On November 3, 2008 Same sex couple Jane Currie and Anji Dimitriou were assaulted while picking up their three children from school. 43 year old Mark Scott of Oshawa has been charged with two accounts of assault causing bodily harm but it's not enough! This was a Hate crime and will be fought to the bitter end till he is convicted of such! Anji and Jane will not rest. They are fighters and he certainly picked the wrong "dyke lesbians" to mess with!
This is the rally that was presented by PFLAG Canada and resulted from the collaborated efforts of Anji and Jane plus numerous community leaders and organizations.
