Part of 16 year old Omar Kahdr's Interrogation released. Kahdr held in Concentration Camp for 5 years without charge.
A Canadian citizen born in Toronto, he is the youngest prisoner held in extrajudicial detention by the United States and has been frequently referred to as a child soldier. The only Western citizen remaining in Guantanamo, Khadr is unique in that Canada has refused to seek extradition or repatriation despite the urgings of Amnesty International, UNICEF, the Canadian Bar Association and other prominent organisations.
Khadr is the only Guantanamo detainee who has faced a judge and who is not boycotting the military tribunals, and has spent six years in the Guantanamo Bay detention camps charged with war crimes and providing support to terrorism after allegedly throwing a grenade that killed a US soldier.
In February 2008, the Pentagon accidentally released documents that revealed that although Khadr was present during the firefight, there was no other evidence that he had thrown the grenade. In fact, military officials had originally reported that another of the surviving militants had thrown the grenade just before being killed.

The pictures of "death from a thousand cuts" are all from China, during the early 1900s. The beheadings are also from China, during this same time period. There is one photograph of a beheading at the very end of the film whose origins or perpetrators are disputed; some claim he is Japanese--though he is wearing a Chinese police officers cap which was still in fashion during the 1980s in Beijing, China.
This video is taken from a much longer film, by Dr. Joseph, that covers the history of China during the 1900s and ends with the Tiananmen Massacre.
Although death by 1000 cuts was outlawed, the communists in China under Mao committed horrible atrocities and torture. Mao's wife recommended "death by a 1000" for the president of Communist China and the co-chairman of the Communist party. It is for this reason that we included the footage from the cultural revolution--she recommended death by a thousand cuts and it fit into the topic of the film. Some complain we are being unfair to the communists by including this; this criticism is ridiculous.
In today's China, torture is commonplace, and a form of death by a 1000 cuts is practiced, i.e. in China's organ donation industry, where hearts, lungs, livers, eyes, are cut from the living bodies of unwilling victims, and then sold to the rich to be implanted in their wasted bodies. Many of the victims are kept alive for days until each organ is needed and then harvested for implantation.
Numerous sources confirm Mao and his communists committed horrible atrocities which continued after his death.
As recently as the 1970s Red Guards burned people alive, cut off heads, and ate living flesh cut from their victims, killing and torturing millions of innocent Chinese. These are the people who now rule China.

Il messaggio è quello di una grande campagna contro la tortura, che parte dagli abusi di cui sono stati accusati i servizi segreti statunitensi in Iraq per giungere ad una più ampia presa di posizione contro la violazione dei diritti umani nel mondo, il fronte principale di battaglia per Amnesty da decenni.
Il nome della campagna dice tutto: "Unsubscribe". "Manda un messaggio chiaro al Governo - dichiara Amnesty UK - che non tollereremo più l'abuso dei diritti umani nel nome della guerra al terrore. La maggiorparte delle petizioni chiedono una firma, noi ti chiediamo di togliere il tuo nome".
Il primo video diffuso in rete si chiama Attendendo le guardie, un corto di alcuni minuti che racconta l'angosciante attesa di un prigioniero vittima di violenza, costretto a rimanere per ore in una posizione del tutto scomoda. Un video girato con tecniche inconsuete, come la scelta dell'attore di sottoporsi a quella posizione per lunghe ore, per poter filmare senza filtri il dolore che provoca. Making this video took about 15 minutes, and It was no fun, but I felt it had to be done. Republican Congressman Chris Shays says that there was no Torture at Abu Ghraib, that the US does not torture, and that the US follows the Geneva Conventions. This dude is a sick excuse for a human being who should not be allowed to represent Americans in the U.S. Congress.
