Tornadoes near Orienta on June 13th. After taking a dirt road north to head off a storm we were flanked by a quick moving thunderstorm that drenched the road we were cautiously traveling, which completely sealed our fate, leaving us stuck for the next few hours.
While we were stuck this flanking thunderstorm went supercellular, and started dropping tornadoes about 1/2 mile to 3/4 of mile to our NE and then moved to our NW. Shortly after the first few tornadoes, the storm then moved South and later dropped another tornado (reportedly more than one, but I only saw one) to our SE as the storm moved directly over us.
This cell then merged with several other storms in the region to form a quasi-stationary MCS which dropped an estimated 9 inches of rain on our position. Thankfully, after a few hours of being stuck, Major County firefighters helped me and Amos push our car to the nearest gravel road (while we were surrounded by Cloud to Ground lightning). Afterwards, we were treated to one hell of a lightning show on the ride home.
I apologize for any shaky camera shots. This was my first ever tornado experience and I was standing in 2 inches of water and then another 3-4 inches of red, wet, clay, which made moving and setting up my tripod a challenge, not to mention the wind, rain and hail that made it even more difficult.

Tornados are found under Entity\Enviroment, once selected you can change various things under "Entity Properties".
Because people were asking: my system specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo 4300 (1.8GHz) processor, overclocked to 2.2GHz, 2GB 800MHz RAM, Nvidia 512mb 7900GS GPU (DX9).
I get a Windows Vista base score of 5.1, RAM and CPU being the 5.1, HDD transfer rate at 5.5 and GPU at 5.8 for gaming, 5.9 for Aero.
As it was filmed in the sandbox editor, I made the window 512 x 384 and recorded full size with FRAPS which leaves a big blank outline that I cut out by zooming in with my video editor.
That's why I get a good framerate; when playing the demo at 1024 x 768 on high I get an average framrate of less than 6fps so I nerf it down to medium shaders, low shadows and then everything else high.
I PANT3RA I does this stuff with graphics much more powerfull as he can spawn barrels and tornados and such in real life.

This is part one of three of the video "The Big Tornadoes" (that's not its original name, for whatever reason the producers of this videotape decided to rename it. The original title of this video was "Terrible Tuesday" and was made in 1984). This is a tornado safety film that focuses on the Wichita Falls, Texas tornado that occurred on April 10, 1979. This was an F4 tornado that was nearly a mile and a half wide.
Part one of this video shows some footage of the actual tornado (along with some stock footage of other tornadoes thrown in for dramatic effect) along with survivor accounts and an overview of how Wichita Falls handles a disaster. One of the survivors who is telling his story unwittingly started the deadly myth that hiding under a highway overpass during a tornado will protect you.

The picture quality isn't the best because the videotape I captured this from is over ten years old and is quite worn, plus it runs in EP mode. I've cleaned up the video and sharpened it a little but the image quality is still rather poor. Also some of the footage was very dark and hard to see so I've brightened up the picture as much as possible without completely washing it out.
