| Aikido Tomiki Kenji sensei 合気道 富木謙治先生 - 606 sec
This movie was demonstrated by Tomiki Kenji sensei and Ohba Hideo sensei who were the most important people of Aikido history. Especially Tomiki sensei established Japan Aikido Association (people usually call it Shodokan Aikido or Tomiki Aikido) which has the students all over the world today.
Unfortunately I don't know about this movie fully. Actually the original one I bought at somewhere was so terrible because it was mirror image. So I edited it correctly.
By the way this movie said Tomiki sensei was 7th degree of Judo. As you know Kodokan gave him 8th degree in 1971. So this movie must have been made before that. And the words of Judo Taiso appeared at first. 'Judu Taiso' exactly means exercises of Judo. I guess this movie might have been made for Judo players.
Anyway this movie is definitely valuable. Enjoy!

This clip features Charlie Hudson and Eric Snyder of the Vassar College Aikido club performing the first 24 techniques of Tomiki Aikido's Koryu Daisan no Kata, or Third Collection of Old Style Techniques. The entire Koryu Daisan no Kata contains 50 techniques against unarmed sitting and standing techniques, knife attackes, spear attacks, and sword attacks, as well as sets of techniques where the good guy has the sword or spear and has to deal with an attacker who is attempting to take the weapon away. This set of 50 techniques is also the major component of the test materials for first through third degree black belt tests at most Tomiki Aikido schools. This clip shows the first 24 techniques--4 suwari waza or sitting techniques; 4 hanza-handachi or half-sitting, half kneeling techniques; 8 standing techniques against an unarmed opponent; and then 8 techniques against an opponent armed with a tanto, or Japanese dagger. The clip features first Charlie performing the techniques against Eric and then visa versa, so that all 24 techniques are performed twice.
