I hate this vid so much, mostly since wmm keept freezing up that made it take ages to do! (not to proud of it..)
Anyway it was at first meant to be an entry for Theonlydoylie's competition and after some encouragement online and irl I decieded to enter it :)
I made the scenes black and white because I think it goes better with the song and it seems more like the clips actually taking place at the same spot.
In all scenes where Cloud appers he is supposed to be sephiroth.
I also appologiez for the "I did what I could to save them" "they must been brutally tortured" I wish he said it in another tempus, since Aeris is actually still alive, anyway it's free
to interpret however you like.
The plot, a pretty much a MUST READ in order to understand (with a lot of language errors ;):
Vincent and Aeris meet in the slum church where Vincent had spend a lot of time mourning the loss of his love Lucrecia (who killed herself after realising her son would become an evil and twisted man, this being Sephiroth).
Vincent and Aeris falls instantly inlove and everything seems to become a happy ever after (even though Vincent cant help to catch himself thinking about Aeris as Lucrecia), Aeris helping Vincent to forgive himself for not doing more to save Luc.
But everything is not so good...Sephiroth seduce Aeris because he needs her for his plan to the destroy the planet, Aeris betrays Vincent.
Vincent has the gift to see the future and he sees what Sephiroth plans to do, he tries to reach through to Aeris but she wont listen -being so inlove with Seph.
Vincent wants to kill Sephiroth (he hates him, which is not so weird) but he cant - him being lucrecia's son. He realises to get through to Aeris he must die. He goes to challenge Seph to a duel that he lets Seph win. As he rejoin the lifestream Aeris feels it and his last thoughts, being what he have seen in the future reaches Aeris. She feels remorse for betraying Vincent and knows what she has to do
to save the planet - betray Sephiroth, the man she loved.

If you feel that you need a more detailed description what happens in each scene, even though reading what I wrote above should be enough, (I hope):
00:00-00:10 Vincent and Aeris first conversation in the slum church, Vincent goes there often to mourn Lucrecia (Aeris has notice that).
00:10-00:20 Pieces of Vincent challeging Sephiroth to a duel(this duel will take place later in the amv).
00:20-00:33 Flashbacks about him and Aeris and how she cheated on him with Sephiroth
00:33-00:45 Vincent reflects over the simularities between Aeris and Lucrecia and how they both betrayed him - due to Sephiroth.
00:45-00:55 Vincent on his way to challenge Sephiroth, he whispers to Lucrecia, even though he want to he cant kill Sephiroth he is after all Lucrecia's son.
00:55-01:17 Vincents memories and how he reflects over the situation.
01:17-01:31 Vincent with his gift to see the future, see the death of both Aeris, and the past death, Lucrecia - all because of the man he hates.
01:31-01:37 More glimses of Sephi and Aeris relationship
01:37-01:49 He sees the memory of Lucrecia and realises even though he cant kill Sephiroth he needs to do something to reach through to Aeris and save her and the planet.
01:49-02:15 He seeks out Sephiroth on a platform and challenge him to a duel (this is what you've seen glimses of before and his way over there), it's not
his intent to win but he figures if he dies he should somehow reach through to Aeris and make her open her eyes to his warning.
They extend a short dialogue.

-Hmm, I rather not know
-That's too bad
-This is about fighting.
02:15-02:34 Sephiroth and Vincent fight. Vincent know he can win but let Sephiroth kill him.
02:34-02:39 Aeris feels Vincent dying.
02:39-02:42 So does Lucrecia and shed a tear in her crystal grave - for the man she loved and betrayed.
02:42-02:50 As Vincent rejoin the lifestream he uses his last powers to show Aeris what he have seen.
02:50-the end While Vincent continue showing her Sephiroth's evil plan she feels remorse for not listening to him and because she must in order to save the planet betray the man she loved. (Which in order to FF7 she prays for holy and thereby do betray him)
