Police say this is the shooter ---- 25-year-old Wesley Higdon. [Notes:zoom into security camera image of higdon] Video from the plant lunchroom shows Higdon aiming at a man sitting at a table, who falls from his chair after being shot. Another camera ----on the factory floor shows a worker falling to the ground --apparently hit...Higdon runs out of view.Investigators believe Wesley Higdon called his girlfriend from the plant about two hours before he went on a shooting rampage------- and told her he *was* going to kill his supervisor. Higdon, had been previously scolded for talking on his cell phone--- and failing to wear safety glasses.Atlantics Plastics employs about 150 people ---- the company's CEO has called this incident ---a total shock.

The minute-long video then shows several cars passing Torres as a few people stare from the sidewalk. Some approached the victim but most stayed put until an officer responding to an unrelated call arrives on the scene. The victim remains in critical condition in Hartford Hospital. Authorities say he's paralyzed.
