I bought a copy of the Halo 3 Collector's Edition from work tonight, and what should I find when I open it?
The disc was loose inside the case and was scratched to hell. The spindle in the middle is made really cheaply and a lot of Collectors Editions are turing out the same way from other places I'm reading around the net.
It's hard to see the scratches in this video, but they're there and why my copy is going back to the store tomorrow for a standard edition.
I'd recommend only shelling out $60 for the standard edition or $130 for the Legendary if you're diehard enough since they'll each be using different packaging.
Really no excuse for M$ to ship something in such cheap ass packaging, especially a CE.

So last night we picked up a copy of The Halo 3 collectors edition (2 actually) and our disks were loose and scratched just like most others. We waited for 2 hours for the midnight launch to bring home scratched disk. That my friends, is the suck. The essentials disk with all the cool extras will work for just a little bit, but if you try to access anything, it says the disk is unreadable. Microsoft has agreed to replace the disks until the end of this year, but you send your disks in, and they send you new disks. Who wants to be without halo 3 for the month it could take them to replace the disks so soon after getting the game?
Also the box that andrew is shaking near the end, is not our copy, it is a second copy we purchased.

So, I was coming home, and a lady came out from her apartment complex, and you know how people freak out and hit their brakes out of no-where? well, thats what she did. I ended up dropping the bike and I rode home after picking up my front windshield and left mirror. My helmet was scratched just a little, my arms are messed up a little..not bad, but thats what i get for thinking It's hot and not wearing my jacket..XD...Can anyone say its time to go FZ6N??
