Zrelaksuj się i powtarzaj sobie w myślach:
"Teraz świadomie będę postrzegać i zapamiętam
wszystko to czego doświadczę w ciągu
tej procedury relaksacyjnej.
Gdy się obudzę będę w stanie
przypomnieć sobie ze szczegółami te doświadczenia
które są dla mnie ważne i pomogą mi
w rozwoju fizycznym i duchowym"
Następnie oddychaj przez półotwarte usta.
Wypełnij swoje płuca energią
i przy wydechu uwolnij ją.
Zrelaksuj się.
Zaczniesz wchodzić w stan półsnu
(stan hipnagogiczny)
Skoncentruj myśli na jakimś obiekcie i myśl tylko o nim.
Kiedy inne myśli i obrazy zaczną się pojawiać znikąd i będą zagłuszać twoją pierwszą myśl to znaczy, że wszedłeś w stan półsnu.
Pasywnie obserwuj te obrazy.
To pomoże osiągnąć Ci stan bliski snu.
Monroe nazywa to Warunkiem A.

Po osiągnięciu tego stanu Monroe zaleca jego pogłębienie.
Wycisz wszystkie myśli i obserwuj w ciszy pole widzenia twoich zamkniętych oczu.
Tylko patrz w ciemność. Rób to przez dłuższą chwilę.
Po jakimś czasie zobaczysz refleksje świetlne. To naturalne zakłócenia obrazu i nie mają żadnego znaczenia. Zignoruj je.
Moment ten Monroe nazywa Warunkiem B.

Teraz musisz wejść w jeszcze głębszy stan relaksacji, który Monroe nazywa Warunkiem C.
Spójrz przez zamknięte oczy w ciemność. Skup się na punkcie odległym o 30cm przed Tobą.
Powoli stopniowo przesuń go przed siebie na odległość 90cm, a potem na 180cm. Następnie obróć ten punkt o 90 stopni w górę tak by znajdował się nad Twoją głową.
Poczuj wibracje tego punktu i opuść go do środka głowy.
Monroe wyjaśnia jak rozpoznać te wibracje.
"Są to wzrastające, syczące, rytmicznie pulsujące fale, które iskrzą i brzmią w Twojej głowie. Przepływają przez całe ciało, które staje się sztywne i nieruchome."
To jest o wiele prostsze niż się wydaje.
To stan tak głębokiej relaksacji, w którym zapominasz o swoim ciele i nie zwracasz na nie uwagi. Nie dochodzą do Ciebie żadne bodźce zewnętrzne.
Znajdziesz się w próżni, gdzie jedynym bodźcem wpływającym na Ciebie, będą Twoje własne myśli.
Kiedy osiągnąłeś wibracje, oswój się z nimi i naucz się je kontrolować.
Musisz je wyrównać "popychając" je. Nadaj im rytm.

Idealny stan na "opuszczenie ciała" to Warunek D.
Warunek D jest podobny do Warunku C. Warunek C jest wywoływany świadomie poprzez Twoje działania, podczas gdy Warunek D nie jest efektem Twojego normalnego wysiłku.
Po osiągnięciu "stanu wibracji" Monroe sugeruje by wyciągnąć rękę i chwycić przedmiot, który normalnie nie byłby w Twoim zasięgu.

Desmond Scott OBE DFC++ much decorated New Zealand Air Force Group Captain of 486th Hawker Typhoon SQN
based at Tangmere, Southern England UK
in 1943 .They took part in the Invasion of Normandy .Later on he commanded 123 wing comprised of 4 Royal Air Force Squadrons of Rocket Firing Typhoons
He was, at The age of 25 one of the youngest Group Captains in the Allied Air Force.
Group Captain D.J. Scott, DSO,OBE,DFC and bar is one of New Zealands most famous war heroes.
A film was to be made based on the book but somehow funding and the unavailabilty of any Airworthy Typhoons
has precluded this effort. So hopefully my minivideo as crappy as it is 7.18 mins and created in about 48 hours may start the Ball rolling again by some Film producer. The Narration is taken from exerts from an Audio Tape Uncle Des sent me when he first wrote the book in 1982 .
