Jan's friends were trying to stop the bleeding from his femoral artery and called for an ambulance. Neither the paramedics nor Jan's friends realized that Jan had also been stabbed in the back before it was too late. Jan lost massive amounts of blood and fell unconscious. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but even though he was in the hands of professional doctors, he died on Sunday morning.

La prensa israelí, que presta escasísima atención a lo que ocurre fuera de sus fronteras, suele informar con frecuencia de incidentes antisemitas ocurridos en cualquier rincón del extranjero. En el Estado judío también se dan, aunque muy rara vez. La policía anunció ayer el desmantelamiento de una célula neonazi integrada, para horror de sus compatriotas, por ocho jóvenes israelíes. Todos llegaron a Israel gracias a la Ley de Retorno, que garantiza la nacionalidad a cualquiera con un abuelo judío.
Los arrestados emigraron a Israel, creado hace 60 años como refugio para los judíos de todo el mundo, desde países de la ex URSS. Los supuestos neonazis, de entre 17 y 19 años, están acusados de atacar a judíos religiosos, trabajadores foráneos, drogodependientes y homosexuales.
Uno de los vídeos confiscados al grupo muestra cómo varios de los detenidos rodean a un drogadicto, le obligan a arrodillarse y a pedir perdón al pueblo ruso por ser judío y yonqui, para luego patearle sin piedad. Entre lo requisado: uniformes nazis, retratos de Hitler, cuchillos, cinco kilos de explosivos, una pistola y un fusil M-16 del Ejército israelí.
Los miembros de esta banda fueron detenidos en Petah Tikva, cerca de Tel Aviv, hace un mes. Pero la censura militar impidió informar de los detalles hasta ayer. Los sospechosos están en prisión preventiva. Aunque de antepasados judíos, los arrestados, salvo uno, son de religión cristiana. Dos de ellos llevaban tatuado el 88, es decir, "¡Heil Hitler!". La investigación, comenzada hace un año con la aparición de esvásticas en dos sinagogas, ha desvelado detalles estremecedores: el grupo supuestamente pretendía conmemorar el cumpleaños del führer en Yad Vashem, el museo más emblemático de Israel, que recuerda a los judíos asesinados en el Holocausto.
Los israelíes reaccionaron con horror e indignación. El primer ministro, Ehud Olmert, reconoció que el suceso revela "un fracaso educativo" y pidió que no se culpe a la minoría rusa, uno de cada siete israelíes. Algunos diputados reclamaron que se deporte y retire la nacionalidad a los sospechosos.
Ley de Retorno
Y pidieron que se endurezca la Ley de Retorno. Las autoridades israelíes reconocen que esta legislación, en vigor prácticamente desde la creación de un Estado que se define como "judío y democrático", permitió a decenas de miles de personas con vínculos más que dudosos con el judaísmo huir del bloque soviético tras la desintegración de la URSS y emigrar a Israel con todas las facilidades económicas que recibe cualquiera con al menos un abuelo judío. El diputado árabe-israelí Ahmed Tibi recordó que estos neonazis recibieron automáticamente la nacionalidad israelí, mientras que los árabes-israelíes no pueden traer al país a sus familiares de Cisjordania.
Nunca antes Israel había desmantelado un grupo neonazi tan organizado. "La trágica ironía es que habían sido elegidos para ser aniquilados por aquellos a los que intentan emular", afirmó la Liga Antidifamación, un poderoso lobby estadounidense que lucha contra el antisemitismo. El supuesto líder de la banda, Eli Boanitov, escribió en uno de los chats descubierto por la policía: "Mi abuelo es medio judío, así que no voy a tener hijos para que ese pedazo de mierda [el bebé] no tenga una gota de sangre judía".

Failed Ideologies: Monarchy, Socialism, and some feel capitalism too

Unification of former Soviet bloc states
- If the governments of former soviet countries to some extent eliminate borders and increase trade, then the people of those countries may come together and be united once again
- This would not be like the Soviet Union, no central economy; each country retains its own currency and language
- If the governments of these countries were more interconnected then the people would follow suit and become more accepting of the cultures present in those countries
Getting rid of the social roots that cause Xenophobia
- The government must attack the problem at its social roots
- They must improve the living standards of the people
- They must provide more education for youth and also provide employment opportunities
- An Educated Youth will be less susceptible to manipulation efforts by Neo Nazis
- the entire nation must go through a paradigm shift, regardless if they are Neo Nazi or not, most of the population share their views even if it is on a lesser extent
- Anti-fascist organizations only succeed in raising awareness, for a paradigm shift to occur the government must take action
- Imprisoning the culprits of racially motivated crimes is only a temporary solution
