The reason for writing this poem
The writer HAZRAT IMAAM SAALIH SHARA-FUD-DEEN ABU ABDULIAH MUHAMMAD BIN HASAN AL-BUSAIRI R.A had become paralysed. His doctors and physicians gave up all hope of his recovery. Eventually in this state of complete helplessness and despair he composed this poem expressing the grandeur and excellence of Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam. Using this as his sole means of asking Allah Ta'alaa to cure him from his illness. He isolated himself in a quiet place one Thursday night and with complete devotion, concentration and sincerity/ began reciting this poem. While reciting it sleep overcame him. He had a vision of Sayyidina. Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam. He told Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam of his illness whereupon Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam passed his blessed hand over Imam Busairi's body. Through the barakat and blessing of Sayyidina, Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam Allah Ta'alaa granted him complete cure from his paralysis. When he awoke he found a scarf or shawl on his body which he had seen Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam place on his paralysed limbs. This resulted in the poem being named "Qasidah Burdah" (The Poem of the Scarf).
In the morning when due to some necessity. he went to the bazaar, a pious dervish greeted him with salaam and requested him to recite the qasidah which he had composed in praise of Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam The poet said that I have composed many poems in praise of Rasuluallah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, which one do you wish to hear? The dervish replied: 'The one which begins with, A-min Tazak-kurin (i.e. Qasidah Burdah)". Upon this request the poet became wonder struck and said, "I take an oath that no one knows about this poem. Tell me the truth, from whom did you hear about it?" The dervish replied, "I take an oath by Allah that I heard it from you last night when in a dream you had recited it to Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, whereupon Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam became attentive towards you and because of its blessings Allah Ta'alaa granted you complete cure from your ailment".

Remembrance in Congregation
The beginner must always begin at the beginning. He should recognise the difference between the Divine Law [Shari'ah] and the Way [Tariqah].
The Divine Law is a reality that is obligatory for every believing man and woman. Concretely speaking, the Divine Law consists of practicing that which Allah (Exalted is He) has Ordered and avoiding that which He has forbidden.The believer relies on guides to indicate clearly to him what to discard and what to follow.
The Quran and Sunnah are the foundations or all guidance. The schools of the Divine Laws [Madhabs], the writing of the scholars and their living inheritors relay and explain the guidance. Whoever keeps to this guidance will be on the Straight Path [Sirathal Musthaqeem].
The Way [Tariqah] is the firm intention of the Divine Law. It does not exist outside of the Divine Law [Shari'ah].
It is the resolution to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) as completely as possible in every aspect, both external and internal.
To follow the Way, the disciple puts his trust in the judgement of the shaykh for the correct understanding and application of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah.
The disciple places his hand in the hand of an authorised, living shaykh and must proceed as indicated by him. He must be ready at all times to receive the orders of his shaykh, just as the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him.

Shaykh Nazim al Haqqani, world leader and Shaykh of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order, speaks about Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and the fact that he is THE authorized Shaykh in the Americas.
Shaykh Hisham has always been at the center of much controversy, because he is always standing for Haqq (truth) even when it is the most unpopular thing to do. He does what mawlana shaykh Nazim wants him to do. He has been at the fore front of fighting wahhabism, when no one knew what wahhabism meant. He has spread Naqshbandiyya to tens of thousands in the united states, Europe and Southeast Asia. Due to this service thousands of enemies outside of Tariqah continuosly try to discredit him and defame him with all kinds of labels.
Unfortunatly some of our Naqshbandi brothers are aiding such people by spreading false claims about shaykh Hisham. Some of these brothers claim to be deputies of shaykh Nazim, although shaykh Nazim stated many times that he has only two doors (deputies) shaykh Hisham and Shaykh Adnan Kabbani. The rest of the represantatives have permission to look after the zikr circles and the students attending them.
Now even the wahhabis are repeating the slogans of such naqshbandi brothers, claiming that yes shaykh Nazim doesn not like shaykh Hisham and that Shaykh Hisham is working against shaykh Nazim.
We hope that this video will put an end to such false claims and open the eyes of our brothers to the truth.
Please stop harming your shaykh by injuring his deputy, his son in law and the father of his grand children

| Ajmal Naqshbandi Italian TV Hostage Footage - 222 sec
This footage was shown on Italian TV, showing kidnapped Afghan journalist Ajmal Naqshbandi and Italian journalist Daniele Mastrogiacomo, and their Afghan driver Sayed Agha, bound and surrounded by Taliban gunmen. The video pauses at the moment when Sayed is thrown to the ground and a sword raised to behead him. It continues moments later with Mastrogiacomo in shock, pleading for his life. As we know, he was later released in exchange for 5 Taliban prisoners. Ajmal was tragically beheaded by his savage captors on April 8 after the Afghan government refused to release more prisoners. The two reporters and their driver were captured on 6 March in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
The release of prisoners to save a foreigner but not an Afghan has rightfully outraged many in the country. They see it as a sign of the government's lack of political will, or its outright carelessness with the lives of its own citizens.
The incident has stirred extreme anger at the condemned Taliban, but frustration is also directed at the international community and Karzai government for failing to deliver.
What a tragic waste of yet another innocent life..... my deepest condolences the family and friends of the victims.
