| Classic Game Room HD - LIGHTENING FORCE on Sega Genesis - 618 sec
Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of LIGHTENING FORCE ( aka LIGHTNING FORCE aka THUNDER FORCE IV 4 ) for the Sega Genesis 16 Bit Mega Drive video game console system. This SHMUP horizontal scrolling shooter on the Megadrive is a very fun and challenging airplane shooter. Made by the masters of space ship shooting games on the Genesis, Technosoft, this is basically Thunder Force IV. We're not sure why they dropped the Thunder and went with Lightning or Lightening. But this is TF4 and it's incredible, one of the best shooters on the 16bit Megadrive. As with the other Thunder Force games like TF2 and TF3, you are that lone starfighter shooting aliens and countless bad guys in a variety of well designed and exotic locations in deep space. Many of the familiar weapons are here like Hunter. TF4 will remind you of games like Life Force and Gradius with it's familiar yet enjoyable side scrolling shmups style gameplay with power ups and end bosses and whatnot. The music is fantastic and everyone with a Sega should own this game and play it for days, it has incredible gameplay and the footage shows a variety of the levels and situations that you encounter. Thunder Force 4 is a worth successor to Thunder Force 3, but I wish they'd have just called it TF4 over here. Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. | HURRICANE ERIN BLASTS OHIO LIGHTENING FUNNEL CLOUD (07.08.22 - 233 sec
Hurricane/Tropical Storm Erin over Ohio, showing thunder, lightening, mammatus clouds, sailboats, seagulls, bats, geese. Taken around 8-9:30 pm on 07.08.22. Near the center of the first formation shown are cumulous mammatus clouds, which can be associated with tornados. Later someone in the next county sighted a tornado and the Licking County sirens went off according to the 11:00 NBC news. Hurricanes are destructive not only on the coast, their remnants (as shown here) cause much interior damage. In Ohio, as much as 1 foot of rain fell within a few hours in some areas. Severe flooding inundated several places. Several counties were declared disaster areas.
A funnel cloud was reported over the Alum Creek Lake three days after this (while still in the weather pattern) and emergency procedures were activated:

Note in the last portion of the video, that before many of the lightening strikes, the clouds could be seen dancing (especially the portion in the center of the cloud formation). Sometimes they became a little brighter. Then there would be a lightening strike.
John Purdue purchased a farm for his sister in this area. At that time, it was a woods with a small trail. Since 1973, it has been the Alum Creek Recreation area.

See a lightening storm caught on tape. Some of the lightening strikes have been slowed down to 1/10 their speed for better viewing. At approx. 1:53 on the video, you can see an Electro-Magnetic Pulse which distorts the video frame just before the lightening strikes. This storm was setting off car alarms.

"Chain Lightening" by Steely Dan off "Katy Lied" featuring Wilhelm Reich's "The Mass Psychology of Fascism" in poster form as preformed by The extraordinary New York Surveillance Camera Players a combination theater and protest performance group that performs to the surveillance cameras. Photos of include Stalin*, Nixon, Bush and Clintons.
According to a group member, a liberal estimate of the number of surveillance cameras in operation in Manhattan is now more than 10,000. This pales in comparison to London, the city with the highest concentration of surveillance cameras, where it is estimated there are 10,000 cameras in operation in London's financial district alone.
The location of surveillance cameras is noticeably peculiar considering their perceived purpose of crime prevention. Cameras are installed in predominantly rich zones of the city and markedly not in zones where there is high crime (the predominantly poorer zones). Cameras are also installed predominantly in crowded thoroughfares rather than in back alleys. Cameras are frequently installed within private property (though technically legal) but are obviously directed at monitoring public space.
