Quelles sont les contraintes qui s'imposent lors des prises de vue d'insectes comme les libellules ?
La première règle à respecter pour l'approche des insectes est de ne jamais s'intercaler entre le soleil et eux. Sinon, c'est la fuite assurée dans 95% des cas. Ensuite, il faut s'avancer doucement sans mouvement brusque, ni écraser la végétation avoisinante, à cause des vibrations. Sinon, la sanction tombe de suite... et l'insecte s'enfuit.
Quelle technique utilisez-vous ?
Je ne pratique la macrophotographie qu'en milieu naturel, avec tout ce que cela implique : approche des insectes, vent, conditions de lumière changeantes. Mais avec un peu d'habitude et de patience, on arrive vite à faire des "miracles" sans même s'en rendre compte. Je suis un adepte du trépied pour les photos de paysages, de cascades, et photos panoramiques, mais j'ai toujours pratiqué la macrophotographie à main levée : la mobilité est un impératif réellement indispensable pour pouvoir suivre les insectes dans leurs déplacements, mais aussi pour jouer avec l'aspect esthétique de l'arrière-plan ou encore peaufiner le meilleur alignement possible entre le plan de netteté de l'objectif et la position du sujet.
