With "Deacon Blues," his 6th solo album, Pete re-emerges in 2007 as a band leader and master of reinvention, embracing his roots and first love, the Hammond Organ. In March '07 Pete brought his quartet to New York's Knitting Factory. Featured along with Pete in this 10 minute collage from the gig is guitarist Joe Beck, Drummer Harvey Sorgen and percussionist Ernie Colon.
