Czech customs intervention team (SON - Skupina operativního nasazení)
10.5.2007 v pozdních odpolední hodinách skončila v oblasti jižních a severních Čech závěrečná fáze operace Celní správy ČR proti skupině mezinárodních pašeráků drog. Skupina v průběhu posledních dvou let organizovala dovozy drog z Jižní Ameriky a západní Evropy do České republiky.
Celníci zajistili při pěti domovních prohlídkách kromě 2 kg extáze a 300g pervitinu i zahraniční měnu v přepočtu cca 5 mil.kč a samopal vzor 68 - Škorpion (vybroušené výrobní číslo), včetně nábojů a tlumiče.
Dále zadrželi devět osob (osm občanů ČR a jeden občana Nigerie). Všichni zadržení jsou ve vazbě a byli obviněni z trestného činu Nedovolená výroba a držení omamných a psychotropních látek dle § 187 odst. 1, 2 písm. a), odst. 4 písm c) tr. zákona, za což jim hrozí trest v sazbě 10-15 let.
Ředitel sekce pátrání a dohledu Generálního ředitelství cel Ing. Miroslav Nováček při dnešní tiskové konferenci mimo jiné uvedl: „V průběhu dlouhodobého mezinárodního sledování se podařilo, kromě zásahů celníků v České republice, přerušit několik transportů drog a zadržet 5 kurýrů na území více států Evropy a Jižní Ameriky. Celkové množství drog zajištěných v rámci mezinárodní spolupráce tedy činí 11 kg."
Celní operaci KUFR II organizovaly a prováděly speciální útvary Generálního ředitelství cel a Celního ředitelství Praha. Na závěrečné fázi se kromě celníků podíleli i policisté z NPC.

Pražští celníci ukončili dvouletou akci pod krycím názvem „KUFR". V rámci této mezinárodní akce bylo zadrženo 31 osob, kterým bylo následně sděleno obvinění z nedovolené výroby a držení omamných a psychotropních látek a jedů. Tato operace probíhala na území České republiky, západní Evropy a jižní Ameriky.
Hlavními organizátory nelegální přepravy omamných a psychotropních látek byli Nigerijci, kteří za pomoci českých občanů najímali kurýry. U těchto kurýrů bylo zadrženo 26 kg drog a dále v rámci provedených domovních prohlídek bylo zajištěno 4 kg extáze, 1 kg kokainu, 2 kg marihuany, 300 g pervitinu. Zároveň byl nalezen samopal zn. Škorpion s tlumičem a jedna pistole.
JEDNÁ SE VŮBEC O NEJVÝZNAMNĚJŠÍ AKCI, Z HLEDISKA POČTU ZADRŽENÝCH OSOB.
Naprostá většina zadržených drog měla skončit na českém trhu.
