this is for the ppl who saw my "sehnsucht" vid and wanted to hear the rest of 'schtiel'. i didn't have time to make a proper slideshow, but i experimented w/ windows movie maker a little bit. it looked better on my computer. when i uploaded it, the quality got screwed. oh, and i tested my russian :) if it's wrong, let me know. till and richard (r+!!!) covered aria's song for the 100th anniversary of harley davidson (or something like that) in 2003.
btw, i heard aria's version live. it sounded like a 3doors-down-classic rock-fusion, weird country-rock shit. well, that's my best description of it. i REALLY didn't like it.

1Live: That would be my next question.
Do you had never the ideo to ask somebody of "Rammstein" to play in the band? Or do you wanted to be totally detached of „Rammstein"?
Richard Z. Kruspe: Yes, that was very important, to be totally detached, also the place and the people. That was my motivation. To start something really new. Make music is like make love. It's very close and I want to cherish new.
1Live: You found your new musicians, a new home in New York. It sounds like saying goodbye from "Rammstein" and Germany. Exists a future of "Rammstein"?
Richard Z. Kruspe: Sure. Like I explained. With "Emigrate" I found my balance and after five years I've fun to go back to "Rammstein" and to fulfill my part, playing guitar. And I have fun, which I had not for a long time. These two bands are a part of me.
1Live: Sounds like the last words here, but you stay. Your next song here is "You can't get enough". Can you say something to this song? What are the backgrounds?
Richard Z. Kruspe: Normally I don't do this because everybody has to bring his own interpretation. It is a conversation between the songwriter and the listener. It is a but addiction of close people.
1Live: Now I have to ask for your experience with drugs.
Richard Z. Kruspe: I made some experience
1Live: You got some. Is it a new part of your life? Has your life changed?
Richard Z. Kruspe: I think this was a reason why I left "Berlin". I sensoried the people as very destructive and I could get free in New York and ther is no want to take drugs anymore.
1Live: Richard, you told me that you think in english, because you live in New York for six years and translate from english into german. Now you have a look at the "Bravo". Do you track the events in Germany? Or do you only concentrate on "America"?
Richard Z. Kruspe: I track everything. Each morning I go online and read what stands on "spiegel.de" and so I know what happen. Or did you mean musically?
1Live: I want to know whether "New York" dominated you musically? Changed your taste?
Richard Z. Kruspe: I belive every place dominated you musically. It is an important point, which I learned at "Rammstein". After the production I listened the album and it was very "rocky" and catchy, but I wished to live my dark sides and I thought a lot about the sound of "New York". Evry song of a new band in "America" sounds "rocky"... "Ramones"... You have the feeling like "Rock" at evry time in "New York". It's like a color which dominated "Emigrate".
1Live: It' s very tuneful. It's very hard, but you find the way back to the tune.Why that? Are you a "pop-ass"?
Richard Z. Kruspe: I belive "New York" has a very femal side in it and after 14 years at "Rammstein" I spend a lot time my male side and I need the balance to my female side. And I could spend time on this side.
1Live: I find it very impressive that "Rakime (?)" , a Hip-Hop legend, went to you and ask for a song. Why that?
Richard Z. Kruspe: I didn't intervent with Hip-Hop and a friend of mine has a Hip-Hop studio in "New York". He knows me and my guitar, my riffs and he saked me whether I can do something with my guitar. I started to play some riffs and later on the whole song and noticed that it sounds good and I wrote a song for him. I met him last week and he was very thrilled.
Later on I talked to some people and they asked what I'm doing there, but he was really cool.
1Live: Does it opened a new side on you? Do you hear Hip-Hop now?
Richard Z. Kruspe: I am interested in mixing, this first things "...Linkin Park -- Jay-Z". I'm a people who thinks more musically, Hip-Hop is more text-oriented. For me, the text is second. I listen a song and when I like it hear the text.
1Live: Do you want to travel with "Emigrate"? Or is it a studio-project? Or can we see you live?
Richard Z. Kruspe: It isn't a solo project, it is a new project, which will go on next to "Rammstein". I want to travel, but I promised the guys at "Rammstein" to work with "Rammstein" when they're activ. And we work at a new album and I have no time for a tour. It's in y head and many people ask for a tour. But at the moment I spend all my energy "Rammstein".
