| In memory of my Baby Nephew Kristopher Owen Randolph... - 345 sec
I made this video as a tribute to my Nephew, Kristopher Owen Randolph Verge, who was born into a cradle of wings November 25th, 2006... 17 weeks gestational. My sister and brother-in-law found out his little heart had stopped beating unexpectedly and she would have to be induced for labour. It was and still is quite a shocking tradgedy. I held her hand through 7-8 hours of pain only to find that the heartbreak does not end. Kristopher still had toes,fingers,little ears,a nose,mouth,eyes,belly button,etc.... He was still a baby. Many seem to think at 17 weeks gestational you'd see a little blob... this is so far from true and the pain does not subside.. I like to say it morphs into many different versions of agony. It is still so hard. It's not just the first year. It's every birthday,Christmas, family outing, sight of another baby or pregnant woman,etc....because you're steady thinking about how old they be,their personality,traits... It's just as hard now as November 25,2006 in many ways. Just keep this in mind if any of you will ever or has ever had to go through this or help someone through it. I decided to switch the words of Celine Dion's A Mother's Prayer to an Auntie's Prayer and sing it myself. The end is a little shaky but it's my thought and love that count.
