| "Murasaki Kouta" - a Japanese classic tune from 1935 - 173 sec
"Murasaki Kouta" (purple ballad) is a ' wandering Samurai ' type tune composed in the 10th. year of Showa (1935).
The two instruments most noticeable in this tune are the Koto (13 stringed instrument ), and the Shakuhachi (Japanese flute ).
If you can read Japanese, you can see more information about the tune on the screen.
[ That 'tick' is not a Nike logo..... it simply means that "Murasaki Kouta" is AOK ! ]
You can see the date ( circled ) near the bottom -
昭和 10年 "Showa 10 Nen" - the 10th year of the era of Showa (Hirohito), and that 'transmogrifies' into 1935.
(年 = Year )
2007 is written 平成19年 (Heisei 19 Nen) - the 19th.year of Heisei (Akihito).
Too bad they don't play this sort of music on RADIO JAPAN anymore !

五番を抜のと五番を入れるのとでは、全然逆の意味の歌になります。この5番を歌っている歌手の方々に敬服します。歌い継ぐ、それが民謡かも。
五番が聴きたい方は、よなは徹(與那覇徹)さんのＣＤ「よざれ節」をご参照ください。
しかし私はパス。私がいただいた工工四からも五番は省かれています。４番までなら、とてもリラックスした印象の癒し系【南国リゾート風？】の歌になるからで、私もずっとそういう歌だと思っていました。
演奏的なこと言うと、さきに南洋小唄を歌われているトームーさんの指使いに感動したので、少しまねて、いただいた工工四にはない七→八や老→下老のスライドを入れています。
あと、もともといただいたのは静かなほうの工工四で、さらに某唄者の演奏のとおり、八は鳴らしていません。さらに静かに鳴らすため、ピコっと来る七の打ち音を抜きました。ちょっと抜きすぎですね。
にぎやかな工工四で弾きなれた方は違和感を覚えるでしょう。（その以前にヘタクソでごめんなさい、ですね。この歌を歌いたい方は師匠から【キチンと習って】ください）
【ご注意点】
▼ざわわ（さとうきび畑）は沖縄戦がテーマですけど、南洋小唄はもう少し前の話ですかね。
▼「うやちょーでー」ではなく「うやちょーでぃ」ではないか、とのご指摘を受けました。実際は人によって「ちょーでー」とも「きょーでー」とも歌われるようです。もともと「キョウダ」じゃなくて「キョウダイ」なので、かな。
これはウチナーグチの「コーレーグス」と同様、音を伸ばす場合は「オー」や「エー」(オ行エ行の母音)が許されることに起因していると思われます。まぁ私の勝手な解釈です。解説は言語学者の方にお任せいたします。
