there is now an upgrade to stop it shaking when you launch.
after several people mentioned the the sling instructions weren't that clear, i thought i'll try to make it a bit easier to understand;
the sling is made of a triangle of cloth
(cut up an old t-shirt or something of similar thickness).
(each side of the triangle is slightly longer then a yellow rod)
then get some lengths of string- one is about twice as long as the other. (the longer one is about the length of 2 red rods- the shorter one is a bit longer than 1 red rod)
make a small hole near to each corner of the triangle (about 1cm from the edges).
(the hole needs to be big enough to thread the string through)
push one end of the longer string through one of the holes and knot it to the triangle (make it a really strong knot- pull about 2cm through).
now thread an orange connector on to that piece of string.
then tie the other end to a different corner in a similar fashion.
clip a green rod into that orenge piece
tie one end of the short piece into the final hole in the same way.
with the other end of the short piece- loosly knot it around the middle of a knex rod (any length will do).
now do a few tight knots on top of the loose one.
you can now slide the string off of that rod
(this creates a loop in the string)
attach the orenge piece (the one on the longer string) to the arm of the trebuchet.
hook the loop over the green bit- the sling should hang down, and you can fit a marble in the triangle.
when you fire:
the ammo (like a marble) is held in the triangle bit of the sling- pull this down and under the arm, placing the marble in the launch track
(the trough in the bottom).
the ammo should end up under the weight.
let go to fire!

Me and disneydude1511 made this in about an hour and a half. The track is realy flimsy but somehow the cars still go around fine. Once again, I would have edited it but windows movie maker wont take .mov files. I tried using a file converter website but all it pretty much did was steal the file.

PLEASE READ:
This was my very first kne'x set I ever built many years ago when it was a Big Ball Factory. As I got more sets I slowly transformed my tower into what it is today. As you can see, I kept the primary base the Big Ball Factory. When I left for the dorms, I took town part of this set so I could have more pieces to work with. Since I was home this last summer, I decided to rebuild this tower film it, and deconstruct it to have all my pieces in my new apartment.
This tower stood for many years and now it is finally down. The only thing I did not re construct was the ripen rocket type coaster intertwined through the tower. When it was first constructed, the motors that powered the coaster shook the tower so much that balls would frequently fall off the track.

| Elevated Lego Train on Knex Supports - 181 sec
This is the fourth and probably final modification to the Subatomic Paraball. I say final mainly because I ran out of red rods during construction. This train layout features over 40 feet of track and was constructed 7 feet in the air, right over the track for the subatomic paraball, separated by 1 to 4 vertical feet. The track is supported by the original Subatomic Paraball structure, tape, nails, and over 2,000 K'nex pieces. The 6 car train and it's track consist of an additional 2,000 pieces. The track is held in place by 50 white K'nex rods. The video features 2 POV shots with the camera mounted on a special car, one looking forward and one off to the side.

OUCH! Vous ne rêvez pas :p Il s'agit bien du premier prototipe d'arbalète K-nex datant de 2004, inventé par Fox Master(c), aucun tuto/guide n'existe officielement, l'idée n'a même pas germée chez les concepteurs et experts du produit! Mais pourtant c'était bel et bien possible de la créer! Une construction unique au monde et enfin présentée en vidéo du montage aux essais! Attention aucune autre "armes K-nex" n'a jamais été aussi bien réalisée, legèreté, puissante, équilibre, facilité d'utilisation, divers balles possibles, aucune pièce superflue, bref le MUST en matière de performance, impossible de faire mieu!(niveau K-nex). Cette arbalète est poussées au maximum de la résistance du matériaux utilisé, après plusieurs année de tests j'en ai donc conclus qu'il était impossible de la rendre plus puissante encore! De ce fait, je peu ENFIN la divulger :) Cette arbalète a gagné le prix de la meilleur invention K-nex 2008 devancant la statue de la liberté et le golden gate bridge, autres créations d'un suédois et américain ex N°1 en 2005 et 2006.
Merci d'avoir lu ^^ Et j'espère que vous apprécirez ma meilleur invention K-nex (qui n'est biensure qu'une parmis tant d'autres).

| Grenade made of K'nex - 81 sec
The grenade consists of the following components: the exterior shell, the explosive charge inside the shell,the fuse, the percussion cap, the firing pin, the spoon and the safety peg.
The grenade works like this: The safety peg holds the spoon, which is a lever that blocks the firing pin. When the peg is pulled out, the spoon can move. The firing pin goes down and pulls the spoon, which falls off. The no longer blocked firing pin is pulled by a spring and hits the percussion cap. The percussion cap gets ignited and in turn ignites the fuse. The fuse burns for approximately 4 seconds (depending on the model) and ignites the main charge. This results in a KABOOM!!
How to use a grenade: Hold the spoon and pull the safety peg out. You now can throw the grenade. The spoon will automatically fall off as you release the grenade. Run for cover, as the fuse is already burning!
You can also "cock off" the grenade. When you want the grenade to explode shortly after your throw )to prevent the enemy from throwing it back), you can release the spoon before throwing. It is, however, kinda risky to hold a bomb ticking in your hand.
You can also check the youtube movie "how a grenade works" to learn more about the operation of a grenade.
The model I've made is a model a fragmentation grenade (or frag grenade for short). It is also named "pineapple" because it has multiple notches dividing the exterior shell into pieces. After the explosion these pieces become evil clusters which wreck havoc around the place. These heavy shards can even fly a hundred meters, so once the grenade gets thrown, the thrower himself has to scram and find cover.

| 29 Foot Tall Launched K'nex Roller Coaster! - 201 sec
This is the tallest outdoor, freestanding K'nex roller coaster in the world! It's modelled after Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster. It stands at 28 feet, 8 inches tall. It uses a 15, seven inch long rubber bands to launch the car up to the top. This project took about a month of planning and building and used about 20,000-30,000 pieces. The total length of the track is around 100-110 feet long.
It was built inside my house in small sections, and then once completed, moved outside and completely assembled in approximately 6 hours. I only used a 6 foot step ladder to assemble it. A 20 foot triangular shaped tower was assembled horizontally on the ground and then carefully tipped up vertically with the help of some small cables. Then the tower was gently lifted 3 feet at a time (with help of course) and new 3 foot sections were connected to the bottom until it reached 28 feet, 8 inches high. The tower was getting real heavy by the time the last section was added. Some K'nex pieces began to snap under the weight, so it was necessary to substitute a large number of black carbon K'nex rods (expensive) at the bottom of the tower.
After the video was shot, the whole thing was taken down just as the sun was setting. It was a sunny day with no rain. There were a few small gusts of wind in the afternoon which caused the tower to sway a bit, but not too badly. While taking it down, some K'nex pieces broke and the whole thing toppled sideways over our cedar hedge into the neighbours back yard! We found most of the pieces by flashlight as it was getting dark by then and I still occasionally find a piece stuck in the cedar hedge.
Interesting Fact:
While shooting the video, the camera got a bit too close the track and the car collided with the digital camera. The car split into two pieces and flew off the track, but the camera survived!
