Sweden's Carolina Kluft cemented her position as the best all-round female athlete of her generation when she clinched an unprecedented third successive world heptathlon title with a personal best tally of 7,032 points on Sunday. Kluft's time of 2:12.56 in the 800 meters also gave her the European record, beating Russian Larisa Nikitina's 7,007 from 1989. Dies ist ihre Geschichte.
Sie bringen der Welt einen unverwechselbaren Sound, so dass jeder sie hören würde, und eine nahe zu unmenschliche Live-Performance, so dass jeder sie feiern würde.

Seien es nun „platzende Köpfe" , die der „apathischen Art der Welt" nicht gewachsen waren, „Kluft-Partys", die im „Mammut-Suff" und Koma enden, „raushängende Schwänze", die nicht eingezogen werden dürfen oder „Weisheiten von Besserwissern" die sich auf „Freibeuterei mit Kluft-Piraten" einlassen - eines ist immer gewiss: Kluft 8 ist extrem.
