Terbaru, beberapa kain rentang digantung mengesa Bekas Menteri Besar Datok Mahdzir Khalid meletak jawatan sebagai pengerusi badan perhubungan Umno Negeri seperti yang dibuat bekas menteri besar Selangor, Dato' Seri Khir Toyo.
Kain rentang tertera lambang Umno itu bertulis " Kami menyokong kejujuran Tok Det (Mahdzir Khalid) mengikut langkah Dato' Seri Khir Toyo Melepaskan Jawatan Dalam Umno Negeri"
Ianya digantung di persimpangan lampu isyarat Masjid Aman Kuala Kedah.
Satu lagi kain rentang bertulis "lantangkan suara Rakyat, kami menyokong pendirian Dato' Mukhriz."
Didakwa digantung pergerakan pemuda umno bahagian kuala kedah,tulisan itu juga merujuk kepada gesaan Dato' Mukhriz sebelum ini supaya Perdana Menteri Dato' seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi meletakan jawatan beliau setelah kekalahan teruk BN dalam pilihanraya yang lalu.
Turut kelihatan beberapa contengan di sekitar Bandar meluahkan tidak puas hati rakyat terhadap kepimpinan Abdullah.
Perkembangan ini antara beberapa luahan hati ketidak percayaan ahli umno terhadap kepimpinan mereka sendiri
Keputusan pilihanraya yang lalu PAS untuk kali pertamanya telah berjaya membentuk kerajaan baru dinegeri tu.

Bekalan air percuma kepada rakyat Selangor ini dirancang berkuatkuasa mulai April ini.
