Here is how to turn back on the keyframe control panel in the text generator of Sony Vegas Pro 8.
1. Move your cursor to the bottom of the text generator window.
2. Click and hold on to the left mouse button.
3. Drag upwards.
Walla! Your keyframe control panel is back!

I have made this video for all those who watched my videos (thank you!!!) and asked me how I achieved this effect. Hope this video explains it a bit better than I have done!
It's very simply the effect used where you want one character to appear like they're thinking about another character, and their face suddenly pops into the picture. As an example, I have used Peyton in a scene where she is thinking of lucas and poof! there he is...!
I really hope this helps people! Let me know if you have questions! oh, and sorry the quality is so crap, I have a much clearer version but utube wont let me upload it as it's over 100mb!!
