Junkers Ju87G-2 Sturzkampfflugzueg from the RAF Museum Hendon.
The Ju87 was one of the most feared aircraft during the Second World War. Its fixed undercarriage and cranked wing gave the Ju87 an evil appearance and the scream of its 'Trumpets of Jericho' sirens as it dived helped to spread terror amongst both soldiers and civilians.
Widely known as the 'Stuka,' from the German word for dive-bomber (Sturzkampfflugzueg), the Ju87 first saw action in the Spanish Civil War (1936 to 1939). The campaigns in Poland and France added to its legendary reputation. With little aerial opposition it was able to attack targets with great accuracy.
After the fall of France it was at used to attack shipping in the Channel. The Ju87 went on to sink more ships than any other aircraft in history. 'Stuka' units then turned their attention to coastal airfields and radar stations, but by August 1940 heavy losses from defending fighters resulted in their withdrawal from operations. This poorly armed, slow and highly vulnerable aircraft found it impossible to operate without air superiority over the battlefield.
Later in the war a specialist anti-armour version was produced which brought havoc to the tank armies on the Russian Front.

Gillian Seed arrives for his first day at work at J.U.N.K.E.R. HQ. But it's not going to be a desk job; Gillian is teamed up with his new colleague Jean Jack Gibson, an experienced investigator with the agency, who will show Gillian the ropes. Their first assignment is to check out hostile robot activity at the harbor area.
At the office Gillian learns that Jamie, his ex-wife, now also works with J.U.N.K.E.R. as a medical assistant. Gillian and Jamie suffer from the same amnesia and have no recollection of their time together, so they decided to divorce. Jamie will play a crucial role in the plot of this game.
Notice how the medical robot resembles Robby The Robot, an iconic figure from the movie "The Forbidden Planet" and other popular 1950's scifi flicks.
We also get introduced to Gillian's navigation device (or 'navi'), Metal Gear Petite. Given that the maker of the Metal Gear Solid saga, Hideo Kojima, made this game and the prequels to the MGS games originate on the MSX, the reference is no surprise.

I'm using the so-called Euro (arm-off-table) style. My fist is a little sluggish here. Sidetone is provided by an Elecraft K2 Transceiver (the sound quality of this clip does not do it justice).
