Since 2000, his CD "Cantando um Samba"(Malandro Records - Ohio-EUA) has been collected compliment from the jazz specialized critique and even from the world music, through famous publications like Down Beat, Jazziz, Jazz Now and Rhyhm. Besides appearing in the list of the 44 titles indicated for the Grammy -best Latin jazz album -- which also led him to the stage of the music world temple: in October, 2001, invited by conductor Ettore Stratta and by producer Pat Philips, he divided the Carnegie Hall stage, in New York, with Gal Costa, Dory Caymmi, Toots Thielemans, César Camargo Mariano, Jane Monheit, Romero Lubambo and Paula Robison in the concert called "40 Years of Bossa Nova". From this point on it was more than natural for him to get to the Snug Harbor, in New Orleans, or to The Bird of Paradise Jazz Club, in Ann Arbor and even to the Night Town, in Cleveland. The American turnê was his fourth one in this year. He has already made concerts in Canada (at Uma Mas, in Toronto), Japan (in Takasaki and Tokyo), Denmark (at Jazz House, in Copenhagen) and Pays Basco (Altxerri San Sebastian). Nowadays the Lua Discos Record is putting in the market (lançando) "Porto Seguro" which has songs still not published and new interpretations of Filó Machado.
