To us, Troy McCray is the world's greatest. Not just as a dunker, but as a person. He is the backbone of Flying101 and the walking symbol of what it means to be a Flying101 dunker.
In this day and age when dunking is getting crazier and crazier, don't forget that Troy hasn't left the spotlight.
5'9 Mr. Flying101 is one of the most amazing dunkers ever. He is best known for the mastery of the vertical dunk style. Being so short, his height is often forgotten, but he is one of the few under 6' dunkers that pull elbows, between the legs at will.
This clip is largely a recap of his best dunks that have been released on the net. We as usual, have saved most of his best stuff for the dvd (meaning better tricks as well as better finishes). 6'1" Golden Child has one of the highest vertical leaps we've ever seen (more or less 50").
He recently joined the Flying101 family. We are happy to have him on the squad as we are good friends with the Bad Karma streetball squad. They are a lot like the MidMo squad in that they loaded with talented dunkers and ballhanders from one are code (253).
This is also the first time we are using music from Izzy Beatz, one of the sickest musical artists out there who blew us away. You gotta check him out.

People often don't believe when we say we haven't released anything close to the best of Troy. So here's a little taste of what we are holding back. As proof this footage is over 2 months old. Beat by Justin Barber.
5'9" Troy McCray, star of the Flying101 dunk crew, had to go to class at 8 in the morning, then drive from class in Aiken, SC to the middle of Georgia (3.5) hour drive. He then immediately got out of the car and walked to the gym with the intention of getting warmed up for the NHS show that night (which was over 2 months ago from the date this clip is added). Then without any kind of warmup, jogging, plyos, anything, he dunks it off the wall. Then a reverse 540, then a vertical 540 spinning the other way - - - without misses and without warmup.
Rotation dunks are always fishy. They say the "720" was a 540, and the 540s are full 360s. Well, ok maybe they add on the extra 180 because 180s are called 360s, or maybe it's because they count the run up. Well, these are definitely 540s. So no stupid comments please.
But seriously, in all fairness to Troy, the vertical 540 or the vertical rider are not his best dunks. Troy often gets labeled as a vertical or drop step dunker. No....his best stuff by far is off the run. The man jumps approximately 8 inches higher off the run...so when people claim they've seen footage of him not on youtube--- they're right! Listen to them.
Now you might ask...why don't we put our best stuff on youtube. Well, we're getting no benefit. Our videos never once have been featured, despite the success of our channel, and we're never promoted w/in yt. Youtube has given us very little incentive. Even the money from the ads is so little. But to the fans- thank you very much for your support. You are the reason we release what we do. Keep supporting. Check out the new flying101.org website that will have lots of new stuff, including never seen before footage that won't be posted on yt. Our website will be fully updated in a week.

| Sportarena - 1st Flying101 international event; Bucharest - 259 sec
Flying101 had its first international event represented by 5'9" Troy and 6'1" Golden Child. It put on a dunk exhibition with Slam Nation and much more. The place is Sportarena in Bucharest, Romania. It was a crazy atmosphere and a great place. We look forward to continuing our great relations with them in the future.
Also there was Lennon Alvarez, a Spanish And1 player with incredible quickness. Representing Slam Nation was Kadour Ziani, 6'4 Guy Dupuy, and the deBlaine brothers from Dunkalicious. The deBlaines are the nicest people on the planet are were kind enough to grant us an interview for dvd 2 along with a few dunks. No way they are over 6', they seemed closer to 5'10 in person.
More footage from this exhibition will be released soon, but footage from the other two days is just as sick (but that you will have to catch on dvd 2!)

Who says Troy don't jump high? Here he gets his head to the rim here off the dropstep. Basically we've only released very technically difficult dunks of Troy, so of course he won't get as high because those tricks take away from his jump. But here when he's doing a simple lob windmill, you see what happens (even off the dropstep)

This is insane footage taken directly after Kadour's 4 months stay with the Allens taken at the beginning of 2008 when he was 33 years old.

Kadour Ziani was the first dunker to ever be part of Flying101. He was the main subject of the first Flying101 documentary, and many of his philosophies have influenced us. Ziani will always be a member of Slam Nation and s1s1f and Ziani serves more as a mentor for Flying101 than an actual performer largely because of the overseas barrier.
