| Industrial Design for Development: Bambulance process video - 278 sec
Bambulance is the first Emergency Medical Transportation Device (EMTD) made out of bamboo. Bambulance enables rural and urban communities in developing countries to transport people in need of medical attention to a hospital nearby. Bambulance also creates work opportunity due to local manufacturing.

Project for 2nd year design at ECIAD.
Create a simple mechanism that runs off wind or waterpower, which conveys your concept of time.
Concept: Society's understanding of time no longer coincides with that of the natural world. The resources we consume are not infinite, but belong to a cycle, which, given enough time, will repeat itself. Our current rate of consumption requires a perpetual supply of resources and energy, does not integrate into any natural cycle, and does not account for waste we produce.

| What They Told Us (It Must Have Been Suicide) - 35 sec
On April 8th 1994 Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, was found dead in his Seattle home of an apparent shotgun wound to the head and with three times the lethal amount of heroin in his system. Whether it was possible or not for Kurt to pull the trigger is open to speculation, however the police verdict was suicide. The case has yet to be re-opened.

Enlightened is a recreation of a surrealist and religious dream of mine. In the actual dream I trenscended into the clouds while visiting a Japanese temple located in the mountains. "You are enlightened" was the message the Buddhist monk delivered as I sat down for a cup of tea. This is just one of my many dreams that I have regarding religions. A Thai mtn diety, a pet crane of a spirit, a cooking god, a subordinate of Guan Gong... It seems as if I was once a celebrated religious icon in my other life, but before I could resume my position the that dimension, I must first practice peace, respect and appreciation.
