Pour ce clip, M24 a réalisé les séquences d'animations à partir de vieilles gravures, composité les images des filles qui font les lettres de l'alphabet pour écrire des paroles de la chanson, et crée une tornade de confettis en particules CGI.
M24 a aussi réalisé l'effet du visage invisible sur lequel de la peinture coule en faisant de la rotoscopie et en projettant une texture animée sur un visage CGI aligné sur celui de Dumas.
For this music video, M24 has done the animation sequences from old etchings, composited the shots of girls making letters of the alphabet in order to write lyrics from the song, and created a confettis tornade in CGI particules.
M24 also created the effect of the invisible face on which paint is dripping by doing rotoscopie and by mapping an animated texture onto a CGI face tracked on Dumas' face.

At home and abroad despite language barriers, culture shock, and the blending of traditions with her French husband, Dumas found that many of our commonalities with one another often outweigh our perceived differences - The Commonwealth Club of California
Firoozeh Dumas was born in Abadan, Iran and moved with her family to Whittier, California at the age of seven. After a two-year stay, she and her family moved back to Iran and lived in Ahvaz and Tehran. Two years later, they moved back to Whittier, then to Newport Beach. Firoozeh then attended UC Berkeley where she met and married a Frenchman.
Firoozeh grew up listening to her father, a former Fulbright Scholar, recount the many colorful stories of his life. In 2001, with no prior writing experience, Firoozeh decided to write her stories as a gift for her two children. Random House published these stories in 2003.
Funny in Farsi was on the SF Chronicle and LA Times bestseller lists and was a finalist for the PEN/USA award in 2004 and a finalist in 2005 for an Audie Award for best audio book (she lost to Bob Dylan). She is currently a finalist for the prestigious Thurber Prize for American Humor. She is the first Middle Eastern woman ever to receive this honor.
Critics and readers of all ages have loved her stories. Jimmy Carter called Funny in Farsi, "A humorous and introspective chronicle of a life filled with love of family, country and heritage."

A series of works by the South African artist Marlene Dumas with a solo piano score written and performed by yours truly Alex Wilson.
This is the type of unusual and exciting project that stimulates me as a musician. I was given the DVD with no sound beforehand and asked to prepare piano pieces for each artist. On the day of the recording, I was in the studio Steinway in front of me and TV monitor screen to my right and the record button pressed ! Here you can experience the results.
The works were exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery and filmed for Astra, director Tony Salmon
