Subtitles in the dialect are provided, however for those of you who don't understand the dialect, I have written a dialect translation into standard English, in order to explain what is being said.
This is a genuine recording of real spontaneous dialectal speech.
"Have you had to buy some new fucking glasses? I did [too]! They cost me about 80 pounds! I tried to claim [on them], from Social Services, but they wouldn't give me anything. Fucking new glasses, new teeth, I am fed up. How much were those? Over 100 pounds? She was shwoing me the expensive ones. I said no, I am a pensioner. She told me I wouldn't have to pay. And so I rung the Pension Care, and I [found out that I] had to fucking pay, Danny. They only gave me 10 pounds, and I have worked all my life".

WHAT DOES FAROESE SOUND LIKE?
On Sandoy and Suðuroy, the vowel 'a' is pronounced [a:] before the consonant combination 'ng' and 'nk' as opposed to rest of Faroe, where 'a' is pronounced [e:] before 'ng' and 'nk'.
Another feature special to Sandoy and Suðuroy is that the vowel 'ó' is pronounced [o:] when short, as opposed to rest of Faroe, where 'ó' is pronounced [ø:] when short.
On Sandoy, Suðuroy, Vágoy and Tórshavn, the diphthong 'ei' is pronounced [ai:](eye).
In the rest of Faroe (the North), 'ei' is pronounced [oi:] when long, and [oi:] or [o:] when short.
