I made this song using modplug tracker ala wine under ubuntu linux.
This is one of my better songs, or so i've been told. The last 1min+ has been cut off of it because of youtube's lame 10 min limit.
Near the end however -- you might notice that i've included a "from the ground up" remake that i did of Bonnie Tyler's "total eclipse of the heart" although its music only and a more modern rendition.
This is a remake / megamix of a few of my all time favorites, such as: LOA2, AG Techno and several others (i'll post a full list later :-)

This demo consists of lines. Lots of them. Apart from some of the text, couple planes, full-screen fades and backdrop, everything (i.e. the actual effects) are done using line primitives. As such, it should theoretically run on pretty old video hardware, except that we're using a lot of fill rate.

the demos are usually very very small (64 kilobytes limitation is often used for competitions) and require a lot of processing power. the whole animation with music and everything is squeezed into these 64 kilobytes.

One of my favorite demos - rather than just being a set of individual effects, it has a plot (of sorts) which ties the entire thing together.
Released in 2000, to some controversy, as it re-used an existing MOD tune. This didn't stop it from winning first place at the VIP2 party, however!
