Iphone 1.1.4 Customize Working FIX NEW - 299 sec
How To Get customize to work with 1.1.4 Iphone version. Posted March 09, 2008 For those of you that jailbreaked and want customize to work on your 1.1.4 Iphone then your in luck. I've did all the research to make it work. NOTE: The repo no longer carries it, why you ask? Well idk.. You tell me lol. 1) Jailbreak your phone. If you dont know how then google it. Its easy. 2) At this point you have two options. A) You can ssh into your iphone and open the /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist and change the version part of it from 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 . Or you can B) install the 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 change versions download. This will do the exact thing as ssh'ing into it. At the current moment I forgot were this source is, however I DO KNOW it exist. Will update with link in a few hours. 3) Download the "Orginal" customize. DONT RUN IT.. Once installed, exit installer and go back to installer after sliding slider ect. 4) Unistall customize "Orginal"(DO NOT RUN IT). All were trying to do it create the folder. 5) Then download customize 1.1.3 edited/modded using this source repository (up to date as of 03/09/08), type http://ipodtouched.net/repo.xml(Took along while to find) . 6)After it installs restart the iphone, and click it. It will load, make sure to keep tapping the screen while it shows "Spicy Chicken". 7)Bam your in. Check out the youtube video also.

Customize 1.19 Update for the iPhone - 242 sec
Customize Update 1.19 has been released with some improvements to the icon order feature. So far we have had no problems with the upgrade on our iPhones which are running FW 1.1.1. The best part of th ... is upgrade is the ability to choose how many icons you want on your dock. This will make installing themes with 3 or 5 dock icons much easier. You can also toggle the hide icon feature on and off to keep from accidentally hiding icons as you scroll through them or move them. If you have Dock installed be careful when moving icons down; you need to slide your finger to the left a little after you start moving it to avoid selecting the dock's sunburst. I will explain better in the video demo. So far that's all I see but this is great!

When you browse the web, there is a great deal of important content that becomes inaccessible as soon as you walk away from your personal computer. Whether it's the driving directions that you looked up or your favorite sports teams' latest scores, you lose access to that information as soon as you turn off your computer. Mobile browsing is intended to solve this problem: just use the browser on your phone to access the content you need. However, as we all know, this isn't the greatest experience; there is too much data to download, the data is hard to reach, the content isn't formatted for the phone. Quickly retrieving specific pieces of information using a mobile device needs to be easier. Project Joey brings the Web content you need most to your mobile phone by allowing you to easily send it to your device. You can quickly mark content that is important to you and have that content always available while using your mobile phone. The premise is this: you can use Firefox to send text clippings, pictures, videos, RSS content, and Live Bookmarks to your phone through the Joey Server. The Joey Server transcodes and keeps all of the content up-to-date. You can then use your phone's browser or the Joey application on your phone to view and manage what you have uploaded. The goal is to investigate the mobile space using a desktop-centric model. Like many other Mozilla projects, there are no plans to productize Joey. We will work with the community to build a compelling and usable tool that people will enjoy using. Although we are in the early stages of development, much of Joey is usable today. Hey, this is a really easy fix for Customize on 1.1.4, MAKE SURE you have installed OpenSSH and BSD Subsystem on your ipod before you do this and PLEASE READ all the description. Custumize folder: http://www.ipodtouchfixer.com/files/customizec3.app.zip (This is not the link I used in the video, that link expired, go into this link) Putty download: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe Putty codes: 1st: /bin/chmod -R 755 /Applications/Customize.app 2nd: /bin/chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize 3rd: /Applications/Customize.app/Customize NOTE: After putting the codes, you will see that Custumize automatically runs and you can't exit out of it. Just Exit out of putty and that's it. IF IT DOESN'T OPEN UP after that, when you start it tap the chicken a few times and it will work.
