Shot primarily on Fuji Eterna 500T, and 250D. "Days of War, Nights of Love" was shot on 50D.
Theres so many things not even on the reel because it was HD or Video; but there are elaborate camera moves. This is primarily a reel for lighting, not operation.
I work best with small crews, and alot of practical lighting technique. I admire Robert Elswitt, Harry Savides, Wally Pfister, Rodrigo Predido.
I love handheld 360 degree film making, only when theres enough equiptment to light so.
Its all about story. I study screenwriting, and consider myself a screenwriter first, cinematographer second Without the powerful story, there is nothing to light powerfully.

Highlights of Nick's work include a PBS Independent Lens award for The McCombie Way, the National Geographics "Brilliant Brain", Robert Greenwald's "Iraq for Sale; The War Profiteers", The Discovery Channel's "Firehouse USA", TLC's "Little People Big World" and numerous independent feature documentaries including Hessians MC, Missing in LA & Himalaya Heaven. Nick's most recent work is being broadcast as a series of documentary style TV commercials for THE HEAVYWEIGHTS advertising agency.
For the best part of the 1990's, Nick shot films clandestinely while being employed to sell GE's 747 aircraft engines in Hong Kong and Rio De Janeiro. The day his camera case outweighed his briefcase it was clear that a paradigm shift in careers was inevitable. A couple of years at graduate school gave him the unusual claim of being the first Scotsman to receive a Masters in Cinematography from The American Film Institute.
