"Protests led by Buddhist monks enter their third day, in the biggest show of defiance in Tibet for more than 20 years.
Cars and shops have been set ablaze in the Tibetan capital Lhasa amid demands for independence from China.
Reports say Chinese police have fired on protestors, leaving at least two people dead.
One witness said around 400 demonstrators had been confronted by a thousand riot police as they threw rocks and set fire to cars and buses.
The Dalai Lama has denied Chinese allegations that he had masterminded the unrest."

In this one however Jon Snow, a great Interviewer, got him talking a hell of a lot. I am not supporting or criticising here I am just offering the video in FULL as I see people selecting sound-bytes from it and sensationalising it unfairly. Channel 4 shows the Subway Challenge on T4 Homemade.
Following the appearance of the original Subway Challenge video on YouTube, Princess Productions, working for Channel 4, came to Glasgow to redo the Subway Challenge in quality suitable for TV.
The producers initially insisted that the Challenge would be shot in parts and then edited together. We listened to this advice and, deciding that that wasn't in the spirit of the whole thing, ignored it completely.
The challenge was once again shot in one take. Colin did actually do it and on the first attempt! The footage from above ground was recorded after the run and was edited in.
This was originally shown on Channel 4 on the 20th of January 2007

"The war formally ended five years ago - but the fighting didn't. It just carried on, ignored by much of the world.
One shocking statistic: every single month 45,000 people are killed. The Democratic Republic of Congo remains one of the most dangerous and isolated places on earth.
The accompanying video contains photographs and film which offer a rare insight into Africa's forgotten war. They show the suffering of civilians and the use of rape as a weapon of war - against children as young as two.
Congo's recent history had offered hope: a fresh peace deal agreed in January between the Congolese government and the majority of the rebel groups operating in the eastern Kivu region, next door to Rwanda.
The aim was to end months of violence that has displaced tens of thousands of people. But many of the rebel groups who signed the deal have been blamed for the continuing atrocities.
One of the most notorious of them - the FDLR, or Interahamwe - did not participate in the act of engagement deal. The FDLR is made up of Hutus who crossed the border after the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
Photographer Susan Schulman has just returned from north Kivu with still and filmed footage, along with other material from Medecins Sans Frontieres."
