Grand Bahama Island - The Bahamas Weekly brings you another exclusive video presentation. This time of the Grand Bahama Humane Society's annual fundraiser, "The Weekend that went to the Dogs" event from March 7th - 9th. The " Animal House " party, seen here, held on March 8th, is the second in a series of three functions held over that weekend, and was hosted by the Grand Bahama Yacht Club at their almost completed Club House and around the beautiful pool and new bar area . The event was hosted by Duane and Jill Crithfield, and Jeff and Tyra Amrein.
The highlight of 'Animal House' is the silent auction and of course, the band, "This, That, and the Other", a prominent Louisville, Kentucky "Good Time Party Band", which had the guests up dancing from their very first tune.
The weekend started with the "Pink Poodle Ladies Luncheon" which was held on Friday, and wrapped up with the 23rd Annual GBI Pet Show. All three events were extremely well attended and a success.
If you attended the 'Animal House' event - you may just see yourself!
