The CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz takes place for the fourth time from 24 to 29 April 2007. Anchored in the European Capital of Culture 2009, the festival has been dedicated since 2004 to a young, obstinate and contemporary European auteur cinema. Over the course of five days CROSSING EUROPE offers its international guests and the local cinema audience around 150 hand-picked documentary and feature films from all over Europe.

Le Grand Content examines the omnipresent Powerpoint-culture in search for its philosophical potential. Intersections and diagrams are assembled to form a grand 'association-chain-massacre'. which challenges itself to answer all questions of the universe and some more. Of course, it totally fails this assignment, but in its failure it still manages to produce some magical nuance and shades between the great topics death, cable tv, emotions and hamsters.
