The visual packet- are clips of the President in Fort Worth on the morning of November 22, 1963 as he shakes hands with people outside the Hotel Texas where he stayed for the night (and where he made some comments to the crowd which had been waiting for him since early morning). The Trade Mart in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 - 149 sec
This was on November 22, 1963. This was where President Kennedy was heading on November 22, 1963. On the way to this luncheon he was shot in Downtown Dallas in Dealey Plaza, about 3 miles from this location. After he was shot, the Presidential Limousine (with the wounded President) passed the Trade Mart on Harry Hines Boulevard on the way to Parkland Hospital which is close to the Trade Mart. I would say it is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the Trade Mart.

Stemmons Freeway on November 22, 1992 - 155 sec
This was on November 22, 1992. This was going in a southerly direction toward downtown Dallas in Dallas, Texas. It starts near Inwood Road. It is edited extensively since I did not keep the camera up in a consistent manner. So I had to edit out parts where the camera was not on the road. On this video clip, the exit to Wycliff is seen as well as signs to Market Center Drive. Later, we exit Stemmons Freeway (35E) at Commerce street going east. After this we go into the underpass onto the Main street entrance to Dealey Plaza, since if someone drives on Commerce street going east from the freeway, they can move over to the left (after exiting the freeway) from the Commerce street lane and slide over to the Main street lane and go under the underpass into Dealey Plaza. It is on Main street that we traveled through Dealey Plaza on this video segment. After going through Dealey Plaza, we passed Houston street and finally ended up on Market street where the video ends at Main and Market streets in downtown Dallas (one block southeast of the Texas School Book Depository).

Pan Am's China Clipper II - November 22, 1985 - 245 sec
The China Clipper II, A Pan Am Boeing 747 commemorates the 50th Anniversary of Pan Am's first Pacific crossing back in 1935. Pan Am was the first airline to make the transpacific voyage, offering an instantly speedier alternative to traveling to Asia from America by ship. The 50th anniversary flight retraced the original routing of the Pan Am Clippers, kicking off from San Francisco to Honolulu, and then on to the islands of Midway, Wake and Guam, and then on to Manila in the Philippines. The 50th anniversary trip also marked a sad irony. Pan Am in 1985 gave up its entire international Pacific division to United Airlines for 750 million dollars, and this marked the beginning of a decline of the venerable airline until its demise in December 1991. Featured are some cameos of James Michener, Imelda Marcos, and Ed Acker (the Pan Am CEO in 1985). Re-edited by Sparkingwave with new age music by Jim Brickman - We Met Today.

Also speaking that day at this dedication was Judge Lee Jackson and Reverand Zan Holmes of Dallas. Later, Charles Brehm and Beverly Oliver comment on the 30th anniversary. A note about Mr. Brehm and Mrs.Oliver-Charles Brehm was there in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963 when President Kennedy was shot.
