Apollo 14 astronaut claims aliens HAVE made contact - but it has been covered up for 60 years. Aliens have contacted humans several times but governments have hidden the truth for 60 years, the sixth man to walk on the moon has claimed. Apollo 14 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA but each one was covered up. Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.' He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head. Chillingly, he claimed our technology is 'not nearly as sophisticated' as theirs and "had they been hostile", he warned 'we would be been gone by now'. Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission. 'I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,' Dr Mitchell said. 'It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1037471/Apollo-14-astronaut-claims-aliens-HAVE-contact--covered-60-years.html #60 - Most Discussed (Today) #5 - Most Discussed (Today) - Science & Technology #14 - Most Discussed (Today) - Science & Technology - Global #52 - Most Discussed (This Week) - Science & Technology #5 - Most Responded (Today) - Science & Technology #4 - Most Responded (This Week) - Science & Technology #57 - Most Responded (This Month) - Science & Technology #88 - Most Viewed (Today) - Australia #4 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Germany #1 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Australia #9 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Canada #2 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology #2 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Ireland #35 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - India #1 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - New Zealand #5 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Global #7 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Spain #18 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Mexico #4 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - France #28 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Italy #24 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Japan #20 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - South Korea #3 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Netherlands #34 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Poland #26 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Brazil #54 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Russia #10 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Hong Kong #19 - Most Viewed (Today) - Science & Technology - Taiwan #100 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Germany #14 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Australia #61 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Canada #24 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology #37 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Ireland #24 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - New Zealand #43 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Global #83 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - France #74 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - South Korea #41 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Netherlands #93 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Hong Kong #88 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Science & Technology - Taiwan #16 - Top Favorites (Today) #1 - Top Favorites (Today) - Science & Technology #3 - Top Favorites (Today) - Science & Technology - Global #6 - Top Favorites (This Week) - Science & Technology #90 - Top Favorites (This Week) - Science & Technology - Global #60 - Top Favorites (This Month) - Science & Technology #41 - Top Rated (Today) #5 - Top Rated (Today) - Science & Technology #13 - Top Rated (Today) - Science & Technology - Global #10 - Top Rated (This Week) - Science & Technology #48 - Top Rated (This Week) - Science & Technology - Global

Update June 2008: McKinnon's legal team have managed to keep him in the UK so far, but the results of a hearing that was held on May 16, 2008 might change that. Although complicated, the House of Lords process may ultimately decide whether McKinnon is sent to the USA, allowed to stay in the UK or given the opportunity to serve a predetermined sentence in the UK based on a conviction under American Law. The problem is that U.S. and UK Laws differ in many ways and trying to match up the processes involved is no easy task no matter what side of this issue you are on. Many believe that Britain's lack of enthusiasm to prosecute McKinnon may be motivated by their own secrecy or even revenge. Some people say that McKinnon was secretly and unknowingly being used as a pawn by one or more British Intelligence Services. They believe that these services wanted to know what the U.S. Military did and does about ETs and their agenda. Others say that failure of the USA to turn over IRA supporters, sympathizers, fund-raisers and members to the UK during the 1960s and 1970s has resulted in the current stalemate with McKinnon. Background: A Briton accused of hacking into Nasa and US military computer networks has spoken out about his experiences. (Gary McKinnon was arrested by the UK's national high-tech crime unit in 2002.) McKinnon earns Lords appeal Pentagon hacker in legal victory By John Leyden Published Tuesday 31st July 2007 10:30 GMT Gary McKinnon, the British hacker facing extradition over allegations he broke into US Military and NASA sites, has earned the right to take his case to the House of Lords. The law Lords agreed to hear arguments that US authorities acted in an "oppressive" and "arbitrary" manner during plea bargaining negotiations, for example by allegedly threatening McKinnon over the loss of rights to serve part of his sentence in the UK unless he submitted to voluntary extradition. The House of Lords was not bound to consider McKinnon's final appeal - for example it declined to hear the appeal of the NatWest Three bankers, so the Lords' decision is a significant fillip for McKinnon and his legal team.

Tether Incident NASA STS-75 UFO - 60 sec
The NASA STS-75 mission ran a trial experimental tether that was to be used for towing and placing satellites into orbit. During this experiment they had a problem and the 12 mile long tether snapped due to the synthetic material accumulating a critical charge. The shuttles cameras monitored the tether and its 100 million dollar satellite it was towing just drift away. This was all video taped live, and what was captured on this video is absolutely incredible. NASA claims the objects in the footage are ice particles very close to the camera and area passing in front of the far away tether. --My Blog http://unbelievablethoughts.blogspot.com/ I am hopeful to discuss what others think in a MATURE manner. Have information to back up claims of truth or debunk. There has been several debates about this footage. Some say it is Airy Disks, others say it is Ice Particles, and others say it is UFO's. I myself was very curious so I searched for some information on Google, and came across a detailed analysis made by David Sereda. He provides a two part video that I found to be very informative. This video shows some of the incredible footage.

Nasa releases mass Water in space and UFO comes!? - 101 sec
According to Jamie maussan, The shuttle Atlantis released a ton of water into space and a mysterious UFO goes near to investigate.. Hang on..Back up a second!? Water being released into space by NASA? Now forgive me if there is some plausible explanation that I did not know about. But try as I might I have not found anything online about the shuttle releasing water, let alone why. Now why would NASA release a large amount of water into space? Is it just a standard procedure for the shuttle Atlantis to release what it doesn't need in fluid or is it something more sinister like secret experiment we don't know about or weather manipulation?.. Warning or gift to the extraterrestrial? It may all sound crazy but isn't thousands of litres of water being released into space Crazy too considering the damage it could do in the universe. And I say could not will as I like everyone do not know 100% how the universe works. Most Astronomers know that when it comes to the universe nothing is certain. And I believe that to be true :-) Nasa airbrushed moon photos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTw2ZE4cljc Nasa moon landing pictures analyzed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12Ap5WEqVLM

Re: Tether Project Nasa, hundreds of ufo's they're here!! - 413 sec
The complete footage, showing the truth. An event of such magnitude and importance, and nasa didn't and is not telling about it, even worse they lied saying that the ufos are debris, when it is clearly visible that some of the ufos are passing behind the tether satellite which is miles long. And notice that all that "debris" have the same shape.

NASA Phoenix Lander - First Raw Images From Mars - 63 sec
NASA's "Phoenix" lander successfully touched down on the surface of Mars on the evening of May 25, 2008. It touched down on the Red planet's Northern hemisphere near its North Pole in the first ever successful landing of a probe on Mars' North Pole. The landing -- dubbed the "seven minutes of terror" -- was a nerve-wracking experience for mission managers, who have witnessed the failure of similar missions. In mission control at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, they celebrated the lander's much-anticipated entry. The twin to the Mars Polar Lander spacecraft, Phoenix was supposed to travel to Mars in 2001 as the Mars Surveyor spacecraft. They were originally part of the "better, faster, cheaper" program, formulated by then-NASA Administrator Dan Goldin to beef up planetary exploration on a lean budget. But Polar malfunctioned during its descent into Mars' atmosphere in 1999 and crashed. An investigation concluded that as many as a dozen design flaws or malfunctions doomed the spacecraft. The failure of that mission, as well as another spacecraft called the Mars Climate Orbiter the same year, led to NASA to put future missions on hold and rethink the "better, faster, cheaper" approach. Mars Surveyor went to the warehouse. Phoenix marks the first time a probe has successfully landed on the surface of Mars since the Viking landers of 1976. The Phoenix's 90-day mission is to analyze the soils and permafrost of Mars' arctic tundra for signs of past or present life. The lander is equipped with a robotic arm capable of scooping up ice and dirt to look for organic evidence that life once existed there, or even exists now.

X-23B Nasa Experimental Craft - 158 sec
A fleet of lifting bodies flown at the NASA Flight Research Center, Edwards, California, from 1963 to 1975 demonstrated the ability of pilots to maneuver (in the atmosphere) and safely land a wingless vehicle. These lifting bodies were basically designed so they could fly back to Earth from space and be landed like an aircraft at a pre-determined site. (In 1976 NASA renamed the FRC as the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center in honor of Hugh L. Dryden.) In 1962, FRC Director Paul Bikle approved a program to build a lightweight, unpowered lifting body as a prototype to flight test the wingless concept. It would look like a "flying bathtub," and was designated the M2-F1. It featured a plywood shell, built by Gus Briegleb (a sailplane builder from El Mirage, California) placed over a tubular steel frame crafted at the FRC. Construction was completed in 1963. The success of the Flight Research Center M2-F1 program led to NASA development and construction of two heavyweight lifting bodies based on studies at the NASA Ames and Langley research centers--the M2-F2 and the HL-10, both built by the Northrop Corporation, Hawthorne, California. The Air Force also became interested in lifting body research and had a third design concept built, the X-24A, built by the Martin Company, Denver, Colorado. It was later modified into the X-24B and both configurations were flown in the joint NASA-Air Force lifting body program located at Dryden. The X-24B design evolved from a family of potential reentry shapes, each with higher lift-to-drag ratios, proposed by the Air Force Flight Dynamics Laboratory. To reduce the costs of constructing a research vehicle, the Air Force returned the X-24A to Martin for modifications that converted its bulbous shape into one resembling a "flying flatiron" -- rounded top, flat bottom, and a double-delta planform that ended in a pointed nose. First to fly the X-24B was John A. Manke, a glide flight on August 1, 1973. He was also the pilot on the first powered mission November 15, 1973. Among the final flights with the X-24B were two precise landings on the main concrete runway at Edwards, California, which showed that accurate unpowered reentry vehicle landings were operationally feasible. These missions were flown by Manke and Air Force Maj. Mike Love and represented the final milestone in a program that helped write the flight plan for the Space Shuttle program of today. After launch from the B-52 "mothership" at an altitude of about 45,000 feet, the XLR-11 rocket engine was ignited and the vehicle accelerated to speeds of more than 1,100 miles per hour and to altitudes of 60,000 to 70,000 feet. After the rocket engine was shut down, the pilots began steep glides towards the Edwards runway. As the pilots entered the final leg of their approach, they increased their rate of descent to build up speed and used this energy to perform a "flare out" maneuver, which slowed their landing speed to about 200 miles per hour--the same basic approach pattern and landing speed of the Space Shuttles today. The final powered flight with the X-24B aircraft was on September 23, 1975. The pilot was Bill Dana, and it was also the last rocket-powered flight flown at Dryden. It was also Dana who flew the last X-15 mission about seven years earlier. Top speed reached with the X-24B was 1,164 miles per hour (Mach 1.76) by Love on October 25, 1974. The highest altitude reached was 74,100 feet, by Manke on May 22, 1975. The X-24B is on public display at the Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
