Public Image Ltd. Seattle - 197 sec http://www.youtube.com/group/PiL
Personnel:
Vox - John Lydon
Guitar - John McGeoch
Guitar / Various - Lu Edmonds
Bass - Alan Dias
Drums - Bruce Smith
This was the first release from the 'new' PiL. A line up which would last in various forms for another five years. 'Seattle' was written on tour while the band were in Seattle, apparently inspired by how boring the town was.
Quotes:
Seattle is unusual, in that we recorded it on tour, when we had some days off. The days off were in Seattle. Clever huh?

THE CORPORATION [21/23] Democracy Ltd. - 537 sec 21. A coup is no longer necessary for the corporation to dominate governments. Capitalism's protagonists and players are the new high priests of our day. Industry and government have become intertwined to the extent that it's hard to tell when one ends and the other begins. But citizens are resisting and protesting their dissent to the centralization of power in corporate hands. The corporation has responded by enacting programs of corporate social responsibility. Are they just a tactic responding to market pressure?

Testing My ESP LTD V-350 Guitar (Distortion) - 542 sec Testing my ESP LTD V-350 in distortion mode. The guitar has emg 81 in bridge and a seymour duncan jazz in the neck. Gives a great crunch!! It is running through a MXR noise gate pedal and a Boss GT-3 pedal. Amp is a carvin mts just retubed with 4 E34Ls and 5 AX7s. It has analog reverb as well. I disliked the solo in this song, so, sorry for that, just skip it.
Good or bad feedback welcomed. Auteur : slayerdeathlock Tags:v-350espemgguitardistortion
