Bert Jansch and John Renbourn play "The Time Has Come", a song written by Anne Briggs, on their duo album released by Transatlantic Records in 1966. The cardboard of the original LP is rather cheap, but the picture on the back was priceless enough to be the featured visual you see here.
Pentangle later recorded this song in 1968 on the Sweet Child release, but of course with Jacqui McShee singing instead. Anne Briggs herself wouldn't record and release this song until 1971 on the record of the same title--a beautiful collection of songs, albeit rather difficult to find.

Bert Jansch's 'Needle of Death' from his legendary 1965 eponymous debut album. Lots of people put their own versions of songs like this on YouTube, but this is the original. Tackling the growing problem of heroin abuse head-on, the track had a huge impact on its release, with many cover versions recorded.
