| A History of Evil - 340 sec Animated Documentary-Mockumentary about Evil in western civilization from Ancient Greece to present day.
After all the comments I feel like some clarification is in order, but firstly, to you guys that liked it:
Thanks, you've made my day.
The film was intended to show what people have believed in and pointed to as evil throughout history. It was meant to get you to think about what evil really is. It is meant to show that when we get too obsessed with "evil" we might end up taking part in it ourselves.
One has to separate evil and human cruelty. Human cruelty is people not being nice to one another. Evil is soemthing else, it is something we have created, a word and a concept for things that are not acceptable. It is a label for things that we do not understand and dont want to understand.
But is evil really ever a complete explanation for anything?
A lot of bad deeds has been done in the name of good. The people that did them ment good, are they evil?
OK, and finally,
This video is not meant to:
-blame wester culture and people for all the "evil" in the world. I'm european, and thought that I better stick to my own history.
-blame religion for all the evil in the world.
-claim that God is dead. (It is simply a reference to the philosopher Nietzsche, look him up.)
-offend anyone, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
-claim that Elvis was evil.
-be an exact and complete account of the actual events that has taken place throughout history.
This was a student project, hence the "unfinishedness" and abrupt ending. I ran out of time. I might update it later.
It was animated frame by frame in flash and composited and textured in AfterEffects. Auteur : omaggs2000 Tags: animation art documentary short film evil stickmen history |

| Amazing Grace History/"Amazing Grace" By Wintley Phipps - 533 sec NOTE TO ALL VIEWERS: many of you have missunderstood what he said. He did NOT say an african american wrote the words to amazing grace. He never argued that John Newton was not an englishmen, so stop pointing it out! He just said that John Newton was a slave trader and he was. Most of you are so concentrated on black and white, you are missing the point of the whole video!! He is trying to send out a message that God intended for all of us to be united. Weather you agree with the details or not, the message he is trying to send is a good one. So lighten up and take the hint!!
When I posted this video, I had absolutely no idea how popular it would become.
Anyone who thinks my intention is to "misinform" or to show any disregard to any race or culture obviously knows nothing about me.
This is a great video, and I love wintley phipps and so I decided to share. I did not expect it to be so huge!!
Of course we all agree that John Newton was in fact a slave trader. Thats the whole point. GRACE. That God can change the hardest of hearts within time if they'll listen. All the other stuff, is just stuff.
As far as not posting most of the ones that try to "correct" his views, it was simply to not cause a riot, the few times I have posted negative comments it caused a big debate between that person and my subscribers and especially considering this video has become so popular and so many people watch it, I wanted to avoid a big, long debate. That's it. So please dont be unkind to me and make allegations about my intentions to my subscribers when you are 100% percent wrong about me. I am anything but racist and I dont see how me posting this video would make me a racist, me posting this video means that i'm for unity between races. I have gotten into big long arguements with people multiple times because they made a racist remark. I am the opposite of racist. So please stop saying that because it's just not true and it hurts my feelings. Auteur : hoover4000 Tags:wintley phipps amazing grace gaithers christian religious gospel spiritual god jesus |
| History of Kiss - 511 sec KISS is an American glam rock/hard rock band formed in New York City in 1973. The group has performed and recorded continuously since their formation. KISS has sold 63 million albums worldwide and has been awarded 22 gold albums to date, and has certified sales of 19 million records in the United States.
Easily identified by their trademark face paint (registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office) and stage costumes, KISS quickly rose to prominence on the basis of their elaborate live performances, which featured firebreathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars and pyrotechnics.
The original lineup of Gene Simmons (bass and vocals), Paul Stanley (rhythm guitar and vocals), Paul "Ace" Frehley (lead guitar and vocals) and Peter Criss (drums and vocals) became the most successful and identifiable in the band's history, and released a series of gold and platinum albums throughout the 1970s. Due to substance abuse problems and creative differences, both Criss and Frehley were out of the group by 1982. The band's commercial fortunes had also waned considerably by that point.
In 1983, KISS abandoned their makeup and enjoyed a commercial resurgence throughout the mid-to-late 1980s. They began to fall out of favor once again by the early 1990s, however. Buoyed by a wave of KISS nostalgia in the mid-1990s, the band announced a reunion of the original lineup (with makeup) in 1996. The resulting "KISS Alive Worldwide" tour was the top-grossing act of 1996.
Criss and Frehley have since left KISS, and have been replaced by Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, respectively. The band continues to perform, while Stanley and Simmons have remained the only two constant members.
