It seems that Animated Starscream has something in common with G1 Starscream - neither of them can be killed, although the nature of that gift/curse is somewhat different.
A montage of several of Starscream's deaths. He did go on to die a few more times in this episode, and like the Energizer Bunny, keeps coming back.
And if there was ever any doubt about this Megatron being more ruthless and evil than G1 Megatron, it should be put to rest by how determined he is that Starscream remain offline (how many times did G1 Megatron forgive G1 Starscream?).
The episode did establish that AllSpark fragments are hard to extract, providing a justification for "well, why don't they just pull it out of Starscream's head?"

well in the movie Bardock had visions of how Goku grows up, an alien gives him this gift/curse. (it'll explain part of the video)

A little project I've been working on. It's the first part of a feature-ish length movie that I'm doing. This section is really just the opening bit with a little intro into the plot. Understand the actual plot part has yet to even begin. I'm imagining this will be about an hour-ish long. Planning on entering the final version in some festivals when it's all said and done, but since I'm not at a set 8 hours a day and I'm working around everyone else's schedule, this is the only part I'm comfortable showing as of now. Sure, it's missing some clips and some of the effects need to be smoothed (a split screen 3/4ths of the way through needs to be fixed, but thats time consuming and I'll get to it later.), but its overall done and ready to be watched; just not ready for festivals and such.
The plot:
Mike is your typical highschool prick. He puts others down because he's afraid of EVERYTHING on the inside. He doesn't care about school, his family, or much else for that matter. Enter Matt, the watcher. He's always around when Mike does some injustice to others or himself, yet he never interferes. In fact, he's hardly ever noticed. One night, however, Mike is deemed worthy of the gift. It's no secret that the person you present to the world isn't necessarily the one dwelling within, and typically the world doesn't take notice. Upon his awakening, Mike comes to realize that something isn't right. In order to save him, Matt has passed on the gift of ethereal sight, to make him appreciate the life he once had. He is no longer ambivalent to the feelings of those around him; in fact, he's forced to view not only the mortal shell, but the person within as well. (Accomplishing this effect by filming the same scene twice, with the person he's interacting with being the mortal self and then another take of them somewhere else representing how they are on the inside (Scared, sad, depressed, etc); overlaying the video tracks, making the "soul" transparent & blurry with some mild coloration.). He's forced to watch as his best friend slowly withers away on the inside, yet, like Matt (the previous bearer of the gift), he can do nothing but sit by and watch. The movie is essentially about him dealing with this new-found power, the realization of what it is, the attempt to help, the helplessness for not being able to do anything but sit by and watch, and finally the understanding for the reason he was given the gift/curse, and only when he gets to that point, can he do as Matt did, and pass on the gift to his friend, to make him view the preciousness that is life and reality. The film is done in a flashback/documentary style, with myself interviewing Mike to "get the real story of what happened" (he did something horrific; what that is is yet to be hashed out), with Mike narrating as it flashes back to the events leading up to where he is then.
Sidesnotes:
It's missing a good bit of the clips of Mike being a general jerk (only includes two or three). More to be added for a *final* version, along with any fixed audio bugs/effect errors.
To clear up whats going on:
The beginning is a dream sequence of sorts, leading up to the title and the beginning of the interview. It then flashes back to the start of his evil ways (many clips missing here), the message from Matt, and the eventual "Awakening". It ends after that, marking the end of the intro and the start of the real plot in the next one. Feedback/comments/etc appreciated.
