I was inspired to make a couple crossover video by this particular contest. Believe me, I'm just happy that I've made a video WITHOUT Balthier for a change. Wait. I take it back. ;)
Its not normally my policy to give a plot synopsis of my videos, as I prefer the viewer to draw their own conclusions. But in this case I think the story needs clarification.
STORY
One fine day, Vaan looks into the sky in his normal habit of scouting for handsome sky pirates. However, what he sees is Rinoa, flouncing about on a rope tied to a strange ship. It is love at first sight for the two of them (Vaan loves her outfit, Rinoa loves his lack of one). Vaan ponders the best way to woo the object of his affections, and decides on flowers (specifically Galbana lillies)
Not long after they remeet, and hit it off. They exchange confessions of love, and as vow that they'll be together as long as they look up at the starry night sky. But there is a cloud on their blissful horizon. Alas, Squall is still in the picture, and Rinoa now has to break up with him. So she does.
Squall (understandably) does not take this well. He resents Vaan, and can't stop thinking about the past relationship he shared with Rinoa. Meanwhile, Vaan proposes to Rinoa, and she accepts.
One night, Vaan and Rinoa go for a walk under the stars. However, Squall is nearby, feeling angry and violent. Seeing Rinoa, he becomes Othello-esque and tries to murder his beloved with his overlarge gunblade. Vaan in a rare act of chivalry tries to stop Squall by slashing him with a sword.
But Squall values his beautiful visage even more than his ex. He proceeds to murder the unsuspecting Vaan.
Rinoa, distraught, tends to her dead lover Vaan. Squall collapses in shock over his violent actions.
Some time later, Rinoa, now alone with Galbana lily petals, looks up at the sky, and at the stars that brought her and Vaan together.

This is the real story.

It is love at first sight, although Rinoa gets the wrong impression and believes Vaan to be looking at her.Vaan ponders the best way to woo the sultry young man, and decides on flowers (specifically Galbana lillies)
Vaan hunts down the ship but finds Rinoa instead. He tries to find information on Squall, but Rinoa has her sights set on the thief herself, and so breaks up with Squall.
Squall, although relieved that his abusive relationship with Rinoa has ended, is jealous of the time Rinoa spends with Vaan...as he too has lusty designs on the young man. Meanwhile, Rinoa proposes to Vaan, leaving him confused and scared.
One night, Rinoa drags Vaan out for a walk, although Vaan feels thoroughly miserable and still lusts after Squall. However, Squall is nearby, hating Rinoa for stealing Vaan from him. He spots the pair, and in an angry act of jealousy, charges at Rinoa with an over large gunblade. Vaan protects Rinoa in turn, and Squall accidentally hits Vaan over the head with the blunt side of his blade. Meanwhile, Rinoa legs it.
Squall then angsts over the tragic demise of his soulmate, whilst Rinoa searches Vaan's body for money.

You're actually supposed to lose to this boss, but I decided to try and defeat him.
Golem has a move reducing a character's current HP to half, a counterattack dealing over 500 damage, copying anything used to attack him, and finally his final attack before he dies, copying Dalton.
Charm him for a Magic Capsule, and proceed to pound him with this pattern: Crono casts Lightning II when Marle and Ayla's bars are 50% filled, and Marle and Ayla will preform Iceberg Toss when Crono's bar is 50% filled, making Golem practically immobilized into copying Light and Ice in repetition without pulling off a move. This is very tricky to do, because this was done at the fastest speed unlike the earlier Spekkio battles.

Revenant Wings begins a year after the events of Final Fantasy XII, with Vaan flying his own airship with Penelo after Balthier and Fran 'stole' the Strahl, visiting them in Bervenia, accompanying them inside to obtain the Cache of Glabados. There, they encounter the Esper Ifrit and defeat him before obtaining the treasure, two strange crystals, taking leave when the building begins to collapse on itself. Balthier soon drops Vaan and Penelo back in Rabanastre where they, along with Kytes and Filo, witness a strange object flying overhead: an airship. After sneaking aboard the airship and defeating the Bangaa headhunter Ba'Gamnan, Vaan and gang christen the airship whatever the player decides, defaultly 'Galbana', and find themselves on the purvama Lemurés by accident. While looking around the unknown ruins, they meet Llyud of the Aegyl race and learn that his people are locked in battle with sky pirates who are raiding the island for treasure. Lemurés is said to possess summoning crystals called Auracite. Deciding to aid the Aegyl in defending Lemurés, Vaan's group learn that the pirates were recruited by the mysterious Judge of Wings, who seeks out the three Auraliths, grand masses of Auracite that protect Lemurés from the outside world. In their pursuit of the villain, the gang are eventually reunited with the friends they made during their previous adventure and face enemies, old and new, while learning the truth behind the Eternal, the god Feolthanos, the Auracite's true purpose, and the mysterious Judge Of Wings.

Magus! ^_^ the battle theme!
But noooo!!! I forgot to get a Magic Capsule inside of Magus's Castle!
Magus, he is certainly a tough enemy, as he can defeat the normal player easily if he or she is not well prepared for this battle, as he has Barrier Change to cast the spell representing his weakness (e.g. He is weak to Fire when he casts Fire II). Once he's down to when he lowers his defense to cast a spell, have everyone at least 300 HP in order to survive Dark Matter, which will deal quite a lot of damage, though one of your characters may have the Dark Mail equipped.
For his strategy, when Magus is weak to Fire, use Lucca and Crono's Fire Sword dual tech, when he's weak to Fire, use Sword Stream, when he's weak to Light, use Lightning (II) or Lightning Rod with Crono and Frog if you have it, and when he's weak to Shadow, have Robo use Laser Spin. When he lowers his defense to cast a spell, go all out at him, as he will lose his absorption and physical defense, leaving him very vulerable. Seize this opportunity to use your best techs!
