WW2 Game(s) - Weapon Sound Comparison - Part 1/6 - 444 sec
Part 1 - Bolt-Action Rifles. Let's discuss about the sound effects and models of the weapons. As a guy who creates flashmovies, i also collect tons of sounds ... mostly from games. I thought i should make a few videos about the sound effects of several weapons, to hear which ones actually resemble realistic weapons ... and stuff like that. In this video, the following weapons are featured in order : Mauser Karabiner 98 Kurz (K98k), Lee-Enfield, Springfield M1903 ("United States Rifle", Caliber .30, Model 1903) & the Mosin-Nagant. Games used for this part were: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (Yeah, the only MoH part which EA didn't fuck up), Red Orchestra (Yeehaw), Call of Duty 2, Brothers in Arms - Demo, Day of Defeat - Beta 3.1, Day of Defeat - 1.3 (Steam), Day of Defeat - Source, Battlefield 1942 + The Road to Rome Addon (The one and only Battlefield game, the rest sucked), Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Company of Heroes (yea, i HAD TO put it in here) The other parts also have "No One Lives Forever" and "Wolfenstein : Enemy Territory".

WW2 Game(s) - Weapon Sound Comparison - Part 6/6 - 551 sec
Part 6 - Pistols, Bazooka, Panzerfaust & Trench Gun. (NOLF and CoD 4 are just in here because of the weapons, so don't get confused with the title) Let's discuss about the sound effects and models of the weapons. As a guy who creates flashmovies, i also collect tons of sounds ... mostly from games. I thought i should make a few videos about the sound effects of several weapons, to hear which ones actually resemble realistic weapons ... and stuff like that. In this video, the following weapons are featured in order : The Luger (The Parabellum-Pistole (Pistol Parabellum), popularly (but incorrectly) known as the Luger), the M1911 pistol (Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1), the Walther P38, The Webley Revolver (also known as the Webley Break-Top Revolver or Webley Self-Extracting Revolver) and the TT-30 (7,62 mm Samozarjadnyj Pistolet Tokareva obrazca 1930 goda). The other weapons shown here are : The Bazooka, the Panzerfaust ("armored fist" or "tank fist") and the trench shotgun (Combat Shotgun). I didn't include the Panzerschreck, because in most games, the Bazooka shares the same sound effects. The only difference might be Company of Heroes, but i didn't want to include this here. Games used for this part were: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (Yeah, the only MoH part which EA didn't fuck up), Red Orchestra (Yeehaw), Call of Duty 2, Brothers in Arms - Demo, Day of Defeat - Beta 3.1, Day of Defeat - 1.3 (Steam), Day of Defeat - Source, Battlefield 1942 + The Road to Rome Addon (The one and only Battlefield game, the rest sucked), Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein : Enemy Territory, No One Lives Forever, Call of Duty 4 and Company of Heroes (yea, i HAD TO put it in here)
