U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Area of Responsibility (Jan. 9, 2007) -- A plane director moves an E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the "Tigertails" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Five (VAW-125) into launch position aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Also depicted are F/A-18 Hornets being taxied and launched from the carrier. Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) are on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO help set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. These operations deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons or other material. U.S. Navy video (RELEASED)

This Dornier Do 228 gave me a free ride from my general aviation alma mater OMNI Aviation to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport(NAIA/MNL/RPLL). OMNI Field is a small airport with a 640-meters only runway! And the landing phase you can see the whole procedure of localizer capture using HSI CDI.

Insane flight deck operations on an aircraft carrier, the USS Enterprise. Watch the Yellow Shirt "shooters" at work. In the first two launches are the man I have titled Flight Deck Man...the guy is either fearless or insane as he signals just under the aircraft wing and then ducks on launch of the jet!

| M60 gun shoot off of the flight deck - 201 sec
I had originally made this video around a year ago for my mother's first grade class and just added the credits yesterday (I just got finished with surgery and I'm holed up in a barracks room for the next month or so until my ship pulls in so I get bored...).
I had the most fun with the credits which are ten times better than the video itself, which still doesn't say much. But I had a few hours to kill and a couple of cups of E&J spiked lemonade so i figured "why the hell not?"
I can't stress enough that this is for a bunch of kids. It's basically just a video with some loud noises to keep a bunch of first graders entertained for a few minutes...and myself entertained for a few hours...
The video has nothing to do with the M60 itself. It just happened to be the weapon we were shooting when I had the camera. But I'm proud of it none the less!
God help the viewers...HA!
