The best version of the Rivers of Blood speech on YouTube because I cut the dhimmi's like Roy Hattersley out. Enoch Powell was a prophet for our time. Book of Enoch translations: Chapter 9 to 12/150 - 561 sec
Enoch the Prophet, the great-grandfather of Noah and son of Jared (Genesis 5:18), who calls himself the Seventh of the First. These works are the product of ancient Jewish literature. The Book of Enoch is declared apocryphal. Apocrypha comes from the verb 'crypto', which means 'to hide'. In other words these books were secret books, i.e, one that belonged to the catalogue of temple libraries under the guardianship of the Hierophants and initiated priests. It was never meant for the profane. This version is called 1Enoch and is written in the Ethiopic language, with Aramaic fragments from Qumran and medieval Greek fragments. Discovered in 1773 by James Bruce the version you read here is translated by Richard Laurence and until this day still not accepted as part of the Old Testament. (Chapter 9 to 12) -Explanation of the behavior of the giants. -Other Sons of God who educate mankind, also have sex with humans and also bringing forth a race of giants. -Enoch is being told a massive flood wave will sweep over the planet. -The decision is being made to inform mankind about the big flood. THE BOOK OF ENOCH - UNDERSTANDING THE DAYS OF NOAH - 208 sec
The book of Enoch was written in the 2nd century B.C., and was popular for about 500 years, with both Jews and early Christians. It is one of 15 works of the Jewish apocrypha, and the Jews rejected the book of Enoch when they made a canon of their own scriptures late in the second century A.D. During the first three hundred years of Christianity, early church leaders made reference to it. The early second century "Epistle of Barnabus" makes much use of the Book of Enoch. Second and Third Century leaders, including Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origin and Clement of Alexandria all reference it. Tertullian (160-230 A.D.) even called the Book of Enoch "Holy Scripture". The Ethiopic Church even added the Book of Enoch to its official canon. It was widely known and read the first three centuries after Christ. This and many other books became discredited after the Council of Laodicea. And being under ban of the authorities, afterwards it gradually passed out of circulation. Later theologians disliked it because of its content regarding the nature and actions of fallen angels. The Reformers, influenced by the Jewish canon of Old Testament, also considered it as non-canonical and thus it was removed from the Protestant Bible. Catholics apparently do consider the book of Enoch as canonical, as one of 12 of the 15 they accept. Many of the early church fathers also supported the Enochian writings. Justin Martyr ascribed all evil to demons whom he alleged to be the offspring of the angels who fell through lust for women (from the Ibid.)--directly referencing the Enochian writings. Athenagoras, writing in his work called Legatio in about 170 A.D., regards Enoch as a true prophet. He describes the angels which "violated both their own nature and their office." In his writings, he goes into detail about the nature of fallen angels and the cause of their fall, which comes directly from the Enochian writings. Many other church fathers: Tatian (110-172); Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyons (115-185); Clement of Alexandria (150-220); Tertullian (160-230); Origen (186-255); Lactantius (260-330); in addition to: Methodius of Philippi, Minucius Felix, Commodianus, and Ambrose of Milanalso--also approved of and supported the Enochian writings. The twentieth-century discovery of several Aramaic Enochian texts among the Dead Sea Scrolls prompted Catholic scholar J.T. Milik to compile a complete history of the Enochian writings, including translations of the Aramaic manuscripts. The book of Enoch, documentary made by History Channel.

The Great Pyramid-Lost Legend of Enoch - 180 sec
http://www.kenkleinproductions.net The most astonishing mystery that has long been hidden under the shroud of ancient mythology, legend, and outright historical distortions finally comes into the light of day in this astonishing and monumental 1hr and 4 minute ( made for T.V. 54 minutes) extravaganza. The film presents the real story, in dramatic conflict, into the real forces behind the building of the Great Pyramid of Giza. While the general historical consensus and traditional view holds to the belief that the pyramid was built by the pharaoh Khufu, The Pillar of Enoch unequivocally proves that the Great Pyramid was far to sophisticated and complex for people of that day to have designed, and was far beyond the knowledge of mortals. With graphic CG displays, historical over laments, and on site exposition, the film proves that the confluence of architectural, astronomical, mathematical and cosmological knowledge had to have come down via a supernatural intelligence and source. The Pillar of Enoch Lost Legend of the Great Pyramid, while provocative and compelling is not over the top with wide eyed beyond belief speculation, but is highly entertaining and entreatable. In a carefully crafted and documented style it rips off the veil that has covered over the truth for thousands of years. It's not only the long hidden emerging truth the film presents, but also the explosive spiritual life changing power that makes this more than just a documentary.

STRAUSS: ENOCH ARDEN / Michael York & John Bell Young Pt. 1 - 221 sec
MICHAEL YORK, narrator; JOHN BELL YOUNG, pianist. An excerpt (Pt. 1) from Richard Strauss's melodrama "Enoch Arden", set to the poem of Alfred, Lord Tennyson. With Michael York, narrator www.michaelyork.net -- and John Bell Young, pianist www.johnbellyoung.com -- To order this CD, please visit www.americuscd.com For autographed copies, and to inquire about performance availability, please write: imcainc@verizon.net "My goodness, it is a wonderful performance...It brought tears to my eyes..." --Stephen Hough, pianist "A wonderful CD...it's great!" --Brooke Anderson, CNN Headline News "Gripping! Michael York's narration and voices in dialect are top-drawer artistry and bring the drama and environment, and the ambience of the Victorian era into such a realm that one is completely absorbed--transported back to that time, to live the experiences of the characters. John Bell Young's playing is sensitive and powerful... I have found it one of the most moving audio experiences I've encountered. The production is a gem." --Hugh Downs "A passionate performance. York throws himself into Tennyson's melodrama, and his expertise with English accents deftly differentiates between the working class Enoch and the bourgeois miller who marries his wife...Young brings a great sense of conviction to the 66 minute performance...First class packaging, too..." --John Fleming, the St. Petersburg Times "A stunning new recording - very different from any Enoch I've ever heard. A subtle and inward performance...a heck of a fine pianist...a bargain for a performance of this quality for a work of this stature...a terrific recording!" --Jim Svejda, KUSC, Los Angeles "It is clear from the detail included in this production that it was a labor of love. Pianist John Bell Young was eager to record both the poem and the music Richard Strauss wrote specifically for it. He brought British actor Michael York on board and the two wrote essays for liner notes that nearly amount to a book. The entire poem is also included, as well as biographies of all involved and the history of the poem... if you are not acquainted with the story, with its contradictions and bitter ironies, then this passionate and quite beautiful production makes for the perfect introduction. York displays the crisp diction and precise pacing that keep him frequently employed as an audio book narrator. He approaches the material with the appropriate degree of warmth and vigor, but does so with great finesse, matching the spirit of the material without overstating the obvious. Strauss's music, as presented by Young, is vital and undeniably dramatic." --Rochelle O'Gorman, The Boston Globe "Here is one of the more peculiar rarities in the Strauss corpus, a sprawling accompaniment to Alfred Lord Tennyson's melodrama about a young man, presumably lost at sea, who returns home many years later to find his wife remarried to his childhood friend...Remarkably, two labels are competing with new recordings of Enoch Arden at the same time, each with differing approaches...York's intimate, conversational telling of the tale works far better on a recording......and Young's playing is freer in manner." --Richard D. Ginell, LA Times "Enoch Arden is seldom performed, and the few recordings include one by pianists Glenn Gould and Claude Rains as narrator...English actor Michael York and American pianist John Bell Young have just recorded it in an expressive rendition that matches the dynamic contours of the music...York conveys an array of vocal colors with clarity and dramatic energy. Young captures the changing moods with rhythmic momentum and subtle changes as the text progresses. The chemistry between York and Young can be heard in the pensive opening measures, and it continues throughout... the piano intensity is beautifully balanced with the narrative. The charisma, attention to detail, and intimacy of this disk make it something to share with friends." --Leonne Lewis, Clavier Magazine "A fine new CD..." --Anthony Tommasini, writing about Enoch Arden, the New York Times "While snow blanketed the city, two concerts at the Metropolitan Museum of Art over the weekend focused on the warm essence of melodrama. Enoch Arden occasionally emerges as vehicle for a star actor. On Friday it was Michael York, who has recorded the piece with the able young pianist John Bell Young, and is now taking it around with him as a kind of calling card... a wonderful job of bringing the poem to life." --Anne Midgette, the New York Times

Enoch Powell - The Legacy - 117 sec
Enoch Powell was RIGHT about the quantity of immigration (more or less) but WRONG about this immigration leading to the "black man" having the "whip hand" over the "white man". As an inevitable consequence of the legacy of Empire, anyone could have predicted mass immigration - Enoch Powell showed no special insight there. As an island nation, ALL of our ancestors were immigrants at some point, blacks and Asians didn't ask us to invade their countries, so Britons should have the moral courage to face up to and deal responsibly with the consequences of the decline of the Empire from which our nation grew rich. Indigenous white people and black and white immigrants ALL still benefit from that legacy, so in that sense we have reason to be proud, but the British Empire was established with great violence and cruelty, and we should be honest about that fact as well. Enoch Powell was a talented classicist and well-informed student of Greek and Roman politics - he knew how the first democracies were manipulated by ambitious members of their political elites, and THOUGHT that his own cunning would enable him to create and manipulate a crisis to his own political advantage. That Enoch Powell saw complex issues in such simplistic (literally black and white) terms, made him blind to (among many other things) the realities of white immigration into the UK, but allowed him to engage with the sort of people to whom scaremongering intuitively appeals. Enoch Powell was an opportunist not a prophet, and his "Rivers of Blood" speech was a strategy first and foremost, for which the speech itself was only a vehicle. The "Rivers of Blood" speech was designed to create a problem rather than solve one, but, as it happens, the strategy failed - Enoch Powell's career was ruined, and the people who picked-up the baton that Enoch Powell dropped were the rag-tag elements of Oswald Mosely's pro-Nazi Fascist movement that (after Hitler was defeated in WW2) had revived themselves as the National Front and the British National Party. The NF and BNP etc can only be understood as elements within one single organic far right movement. Within that movement distinctions between relatively "moderate" groups and blatant psychotics are strategic devices, roughly equivalent to a "soft cop / hard cop" routine. While there may be some genuine disagreements within that movement about which strategy to apply when (most divisions within the extreme right stem from internal feuds and ego politics) the ideology and ambitions of the extreme right are still strongly pro-Nazi. In the decades since Enoch Powell's "Rivers of Blood" speech, the BNP and their new ideological counterparts in racist and sexist Islamo-Fascist groups, used hate and violence to isolate ethnic groups, to try to force apocalyptic predictions to come true. They failed. Britain has had serious problems, but, even then, the "race war" that Enoch Powell was counting on has NOT happened. Even with decades of provocation, such ethnic conflict there has been has still killed far less people than other hazards so commonplace that people don't even notice them (without wishing to sound flippant, far more British citizens have died in the last 4 decades through domestic accidents than from ethnic conflict). Extreme right ideology is about pursuing POWER - by ANY means, and "ordinary" BNP supporters (and their grievances) are only useful to the would-be Fuhrers of the BNP leadership as cannon fodder was useful in the trenches of WW1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjIAE1nkW98

Fallen: (An Intro To The Book of Enoch-The origin of Demons) - 245 sec
Before the Torah, and the old testament was the book of Enoch. The book of Enoch is quoted in the bible and was considered scripture in ancient civilization. This book adds credibility to the bible especially the book of Genesis. The book of Enoch expands into what really happened during those days before the flood. This book also explains the source of demons & fallen angels. In addition, the book also sheds light into the so called evolution of man. To read this book is to believe that there's really a God and that the bible tells us the truth about this God. This book was not taking out of the bible because it disagrees with the bible but because it agrees with it, therefore powerful people in charge has suppressed it.
